Well I thought Adam would win also but Kris is the American Idol. I do like him but Adam seemed more like the image of an American Idol. I know he will do well. I look forward to purchasing Adam's album when it comes out.

Easter was good for me. A bit different now that all my kids are older. So is Susan back for good? I didn't see the email so what is the update?

I was surprised that Anoop went before Matt. Allison is the only girl left. Lil Rounds is great but she was not performing her best the last few weeks. I think Adam is becoming the front runner. I love, love Danny but Chris is really doing great. I think Adam will definitely be in the final. I think Danny will too but not 100% yet.

No I do not watch DWTS. American Idol is really great this year. i don't want anyone to leave, they are all really good. I still favor Danny but Adam and the red headed girl (I am drawing a blank on her name) have been really awesome too. Kris could be one to surprise everyone too. They will be the top 4 i just feel it.

what a surprise when they did a top 13. I liked Anoop but was okay with him leaving, he was not the best. Lil Rounds and Danny Gokey (sp?) are my favorites for right now. Who does everyone else like so far. Any Adam (the hard rocker) fans?

I love Amer. Idol. My early favorite is Danny (the guy who's wife died a few months ago). I am glad that Tatiana is gone, she was a major drama queen. I also like the girl who's husband is in Iraq, she also made it through to the top 12. Looks like an interesting year.

I don't know. The last I heard from her was way back when she said she was working on the Presidential campaign. I don't normally email her so I haven't heard from her. What was the R. Gere movie you saw? Sounds good.

I'd like to see Slumdog Millionaire but not playing around my area. Would also like to see new Clint Eastwood Gran Torino. Last movie I saw was Four Christmas's. It was okay but not as good as other Reese Withersthingy movies.

I also enjoy American Idol. At first I thought the new judge was a female version of Simon but she seems okay now. Can't tell how she will react to people. Finally we are done with Hollywood and down to the top 36. Now is when it gets exciting for me.

That's cool that we have the same birthday. I love having that birthday. When I was a kid it didn't always seem so great. Did you know that Jan. 6th is the 12th day of Christmas?
Happy belated birthday Elsa
Thanks Julie for the B-day wishes.

Thanks Janet. I do appreciate the good wishes. 50 is a big birthday, not sure how I feel about it. 40's didn't seem so bad. Oh well can't Turn Back Time!

I was thinking of the two of them myself. How long has Pam been gone? I know it is at least a couple of years. Makes you appreciate life no matter how mundane or boring. My son had a terrible car accident in Sept. He miraculously survived so now I make sure I don't take anything for granted anymore. Happy Birthday Pam, I hope Heaven is everything you dreamed it would be.

Hey Julie, hope your job is going well. These days it is good to just have a job, any job. Don't fret about Wal-Mart. My son got the run around from them too, also he got the run around from Dunkin Donuts and we knew people that worked there. Eventually he got a job at Panera Bread in Biddeford (I mention the town because I know you live in Maine). My son starts college in the fall. Not sure how I feel about it. ARe you still in college?Take care. Dorothy

Yes, it is sad that all the Cher sites have slowed down. When Cher isn't doing much there isn't much to say. I notice when there is anything about Cher (papers, TV, radio) everything starts buzzing again so the interest is definitely still there. Julie, you are right, everyone is busy but we should still pop in and say hi. You are also right about Jan, she keeps things going. Don't worry things will buzz again once her Vegas shows start up again and we start hearing more info on the album and possibly a movie that she alluded too on the Ellen show.
Happy New Year!! Dorothy

You are right Julie, it is getting a bit too cold too soon. It should warm up a bit next week. The only thing good about the cold is that when you come inside from the cold, snuggle up with a blanket (or a person) and sip tasty hot cocoa.
Farmer's almanac is predicting a "numbing" winter for the Northeast. Ugh!!

Hey Julie, Hope you have a wonderful b-day. Jan is right about age. To me it is just a number. Most people think I am a lot younger that what I actually am. Part of it is due to good genes but also how I act. Enjoy my dear.

Yes, we do. I think we would all feel better if we knew where Susan was. She hasn't been on her for months. Also if Cher released a new album or movie that would help with posts.

Truly a sad day. Estelle has made millions of people smile. I hope she can see from Heaven how happy people are when they watch the Golden Girls.
