I hear you Janet. My friend in Fl. tells me how they are chilly at 67*F. I did live there so I know it does "feel" chilly at temps that we would welcome! Just depends what you are used to.
Anyway more snow for us in Maine tonight. Might get another 3-6", looking like a snow day tomorrow for schools (roads will be too slippery). An early Christmas present for teachers!

Maine is in a very active winter weather pattern. Suppose to get some snow, sleet, and freezing rain tonight. I hate that , rather have snow than ice. Then another storm Thurs. into Fri. and maybe a big one Sun. into Monday. Wow what a winter already (hey it is not even winter yet!).

Crazy right Harmony? I have a feeling we are in for a lot of snow this winter. I have no scientific evidence just a feeling. Maine is overdue for a big snowy winter don't you think?
Now it is freezing cold, only 10*F this AM!

Dec. 3rd. Big snow up here in Maine. We had a snow day. My town got about 8-9 inches of the white stuff. Early in season for a snow day even for Maine!

I hear you on that one Janet. I don't like it getting dark so early (4:30). I don't mind winter though. It has a different kind of beauty. We may get snow showers tonight. I hope the real snow waits until Christmas or later.

I went to an outside wedding on Sat. Weather was b-e-a-u-tiful during the ceremony, right after the skies let loose and did it pour, the ground couldn't handle the rainfall, huge puddles everywhere, didn't stop us from having a great time, hosts had tents so all was good.

The last few nights my bedroom feels like it has air conditioning, I love it. Today will be B-E-A-utiful!!! Good thing since my town is having it's Festival Day. For a small town we put on a really good festival.

Elton John was on Larry King last night. Near the end they talked about Vegas and he mentioned that Bette and Cher would take over for Celine and then he said what a great line up that is.
I didn't get to watch the whole thing but did see most of it. That was the only Cher mention that I know of.

I thought Hillary did really well in the debates and what a closing line!!! That standing ovation was for her and the reporters tried to make that it was for the end of the debate. You could tell Obama wanted to say something but did not get the chance because of the crowd. I hope this gives her the push she needs. I just wish she would come across the way we obviously see her. So many people don't like her. Ugh! It's like being a Cher fan all over again.

Thanks for always remembering my birthday. We rocked together at the Garden that night. That was a cool concert. Thanks to again for that or should I thank your friends that don't like Cher? Dorothy

Happy Holidays to all. I teach 1st grade and my students are so psyched up for Christmas already!!!! I still have to teach them for 2 weeks before the break week. I love it though, it is so fun to see their faces when they talk about the holidays, santa, trees, etc. a Merry and Happy one to all!
