Sorta O/T...about Bob Mackie

Hey guys, I was just watching the news and they did a piece on Bob Mackie. He has a new line of plus size woman's clothing coming out to stores like Catherine's Plus Size store (or something like that) and he was talking about it, and the news reporter mentioned how he has designed Cher's outfits for years, and they showed an old cover of Time magazine (the one where she's wearing an outfit that had white things on the side of the legs..sorta like an angel I guess ?).

Ok, I know that was kind of dumb to post about, but I always get excited when Cher is mentioned! ;D

Mackie posts are never dumb my friend! WE LOVVVVVVVE him..He is the best! (well next to Cher! LOL)..I loved his NYC exhibit Unmistakeably Mackie they did at FIT college years back here in NY:) God it was just bliss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I went several times I could have moved in there! Jan

I love Bob Mackie so much that I almost wish I was plus sized ... but not quite. Wheehee I'm a jerk.

I heard about that line he's putting out--or did he all ready put it out?

Bob Mackie is on QVC all the time, they even had a birthday party for him last year at the show for everyone to see.. His clothes are ALL sizes on QVC, they have been for years now.. You don't have to be plus sized to buy any of his clothes, you can be any size.. So there may be a sigh of relief.. Just have money in your pocket because it's not your Kmart specials..

Bob was on QVC 3 times today (Friday). Matt watched them all and debated getting me something, but chose not to; wasn't sure of my size. I will have to leave all my sizes next to the tv for future reverance! I came in at the end and he did have some really pretty sweaters! I have a couple of Bob Mackie outfits and I love them, the one I have gotten so many compliments on. He does do outfits in all sizes, and yes he is a little pricey but not real bad. DEE
