If anyone knows of this, I would appreciate any help with this.. Is there anyway that you can remove a iron on transfer from a tshirt? My shirt got messed up pretty bad that we were making, it has to be the transfer paper, another shirt was a little messed up too but not as bad, that's why I think it was the paper.. Is there anything that you can use or do to take the transfer off the shirt and start over again?  |

I'm guessing that the transfer is probably fused to the shirt. If any of it is loose you might be able to pick it off, but unless it is a really small area it will be a miserable job. I've been there, don't ask  If there is a place near you that does silk screening call them and ask for advice. I know they have stuff that removes silk screen paint, but I think that is before the paint goes thru the dryer/heat process. Hope this helps. Good Luck! Susan |

not about removing, but I used the regular iron-on transfers on my beloved Cher shirt, and it looked really bad. so, I bought some "iron-on transfers for black t-shirts" and it really looks like you ironed a photograph onto the shirt. the mixture of the two styles saved the shirt.
hope you get yours fixed!

Thank you girls for your suggestions.. Well we tried and nothing, put another transfer over and it doubled, What A Mess!!! My Cher shirt looks BAD!!! The ones for dark shirts, they cracked, and the regular iron transfers, well the color came right through the transfer, may have to just scrap that shirt now  .. I'm working on my jacket and we are just about to give up.. The transfers must be bad or something, we had no trouble with my first Cher shirt, it came out gorgeous.. Also tried to peel it off and it won't come off either.. Thanx for your replys, appreciate it.. |

I have to tell you girls about another shirt, lol.. The first one is trashed, I may as well say.. So knowing me, I get these ideas in my head for these great shirts, well I think they are great, lol.. So Here we go again, another shirt, no I don't wanna give it up, lol.. Well, the paper on the back of the transfer pulled a little off the picture, spots here and there, thank goodness it didn't go over Cher's face or anything like that, so now where the little pieces peeled off, we are now painting it, lol.. This turned out to be more work than we thought, a simple project, YEA RIGHT!!!  It's starting to look really nice, and the jacket, oh well, another project.. The back of jacket looks pretty good but the emblem we made for the front needs to be fixed .. Thank goodness we get some free time at work, lol, that's when we do all our projects, lol, we made all my concert hats, shirts and pair of jeans there, oh and posters of course, can't forget them  .. Come to think about it, right now that's the only good thing that happens at that place anymore..  ;D Thanx again for your suggestions.. |
