Hey Julie,
Hope you have a wonderful b-day. Jan is right about age. To me it is just a number. Most people think I am a lot younger that what I actually am. Part of it is due to good genes but also how I act. Enjoy my dear.

OMG U do look so much younger Dorothy!!!!! Way!!!!! I used to feel younger than I am B4 my operation..now I feel like I am 150 yrs old w/my walking cane! LOL..they call me Charlie Chaplin now! LOL..

Charlie Chaplin!! Poor you Jan. I sincerely feel for you with the pain, the surgery, now the cane. When will it all end and you can be active again?

Hospital said normally a meniscus tear is 6-8 wks betw rehab surgery and all problem w/mine of course is it was badly MISdiagnosed 8 LONG mo. so by time the correct dr went in (he's the team physician to the Mets..i know I follow the Yanks though! LOL) anyways..he said by time he went in was unfortunately so far gone:( bad..NO cartilage left at all..was rubbing bone against bone..ask Oz and Sheri they saw it in May ..anyways..He said rehab gonna SUCK 1st twelve wks..it's gonna be 6-8 mo of rehab but as far as being painfree I am praying by thanksgiving..PT lady said w/proper therapy pain part should hopefully lift by then? We'll see

Wow. That is just awful you have to go through all that. You are a very strong person to deal with all that. Keep your spirits up.

Actually w/medical stuff "outta my control" I am not strong at all but thanks for thinkin so! LOL..tryin anyway..it's hard..today the PT tried to get me on a recumbent bike and I couldn't bend it yet so he immed pulled me off it:( Oh well..not even 3 wks yet since operation..
