Hey,
I've read a few review-articles in the newspaper now and they are crap as usual. There was one about the show in London and as usual they concentrate more on emphasizing her plastic surgery than saying how great the show was. Already the very first sentence says something like that the eternal young Cher (completely renewed due to plastic surgery) says good bye to her fans. I find this kind of sad cause I went to the show in Cologne and I'm going to another show this week and all they can do is talk bad about the show that is in fact so fantastic...
Okay... maybe I'm a bit too upset but don't you all think that they go a little too far with talking bad about Cher in magazines and newspapers?!
Cher-greetings, Linda

They do tend to harp on that sometimes, but hopefully people are going to realize that although surgery might enhance a youthful appearance it is not what makes her able to move around the stage with the energy most 25 year olds would envy. That comes from her effort and healthy life style. On a related note, I picked up a Star Magazine to read while waiting in line at the store the other day and right on the inside page was a great photo of Cher in concert, there was a caption that mentioned the tour, how long it was going on and that it was great that she had added dates and is going way past the original 56 or so that were planned. Maybe if Star magazine can start playing nice there is hope for some of the others. Susan:)

Yeah, but that's what sells and they really dont care abou truth.
but if you noticed, compared to a few year ago the whole "Plastic Surgery" thing is kinda dying down in a way. People dont seem to pay to much attention to that anymore. Mainly due to the fact that more and more people are going through plastic surgery procedures in the states, so it doesnt matter anymore.
But what bugs me is that, most of these people, either 1). dont think they are going to grow old ever and 2). they are not in a business that depends on looks. Critics hide behind words, they don't have to be in front of the cameras all the god-d**n time. So, f**k them as far as im concern.
We spend all our lives being told that, once you get to be a certain age, you can do whatever you want, but the older i get the more i realize that, that's just B.S.

Yea it sure is BS.. Once I see a story and it's negative I just quit reading it.. We all know about Cher and all the great things she has done and is doing and I don't only mean the singing and acting.. Look at the charities, the tornado and fire victims and now the article Julie brought up about the hospital overseas.. Cher is a very generous person but alot of people don't want to know that, they want to bring up the ugly and make things up just to sell their paper or whatever and yes that's true, stuff like that does sell, I guess alot who reads it thinks they are getting some good dirt but what they are getting is all garbage.. I avoid all of this anymore.. I don't need to read it.. We know the good things and that's what counts..

Ya know it's kind of stupid. If someone doesn't have plastic surgery and looks old then they will talk bad about that person, too. So in a way whatever you decide to do is wrong. I just think they should pay less attention to that. So many famous people use plastic surgery but when it comes to Cher it seems as if they really have to mention something plastic surgery- related in the first sentence. It's kind of sad that they don't say how great her music is, what a great person she is and how much she has achieved.
