I watched it...so sad to see it go, because I really liked that show a lot, but I can understand why they wanted to end things while it was still doing so well instead of continuing it on until people became tired of it. LOL...they play reruns of old episodes all the time, and I have seen several episodes more than 4 times on average...no joke...and I have never gotten tired of seeing the same ones over and over. My mom told me she heard that CBS has cancelled "Joan of Arcadia" and "Judging Amy"...I am SO UPSET over this...I LOVE Judging Amy, and I wasn't expecting it to be cancelled for the next season...I thought the season finale was a bit different than the typical show, and was excited to see what would happen when they started the new season. And Joan of Arcadia was a pretty decent show, too. ...just my thoughts. Julie

Although lately been not watching due to my Idol addiction! LOL..)anyways..we ran into them right here on LI at a restaurant and they were just the nicest and so funny! ) So like how they are on TV and since then been hooked..love the mother on Raymond! She is sooooo funny..wish I was w/Gaby when she met her in Hollywood:) WOW would have rocked! Finale was so funny:) Esp when the mom jumped into bed w/her son! LOL

Thanks, Joanne. It's good to be back. Don't worry...I hadn't forgotten about any of you, and thought of you all often. It's just that graduation is coming soon (June 10!) and things have been getting so stressful, and I have also been dealing with some family things lately.... so I haven't had much time to be online....I have a lot of catching up to do here in the next few days!
Lol...funny you should mention that about Bruce and Amy, Joanne, because my mom and I always wanted them to get together, too! I am going to miss the Tuesday nights watching Judging Amy...that was my favorite night to watch TV and my mom and I usually watched it together.
Maybe it's just me, but I think there are way too many CSI kinda shows on now, as well as reality shows. Whatever happened to the days of having a decent family show? LOL...I am only 18, but that is old enough to remember some of the great shows that used to be on. I'm trying to think of a few shows that I used to like: Paradise, Dr. Quinn, Murphy Brown, Knotts Landing, Bill Cosby, Touched By An Angel, Promised Land. Don't get me wrong...I like CSI and a few of those reality shows are ok, but you know what I mean ?

Yep, good to see you back Julie and thanks about Pat. Matt watches Raymond ALL the time! He taped the final show and I haven't gotten to watch it yet. I didn't usually watch the show because Monday's I had to watch 7th Heaven with Pat (our mom and son time) and than while the boys are watching wrestling (Yug) I get MY time on the computer! I have seen the show and I do think it was very funny, to bad the good ones always go. Doris Roberts just made that part..didn't she! DEE

I'm trying to think of a few shows that I used to like: Paradise, Dr. Quinn, Murphy Brown, Knotts Landing, Bill Cosby, Touched By An Angel..... I loved Dr. Quinn, I barely remember it I was so young when it was on TV, must have been nine or ten, Dont really remember, But it was a great show! Too bad they dont sell it on DVD. Same with the nanny, that was one of my favorite shows and it ended and they never put it out on DVD, anyway im a little off the topic now, , sorry -C

Your welcome Dee. I saw your updated post about him getting to meet her!! That is very awesome...couldn't have happened to more deserving people! I kinda liked 7th Heaven, but haven't seen it in ages. Thanks, Joanne, for the graduation wishes. I can't wait for June 10! It's getting closer...I take my final exams this Friday!! Yikes!!!! Nope, the Paradise show I'm thinking about was set in a Western theme, kinda similar to Dr. Quinn I guess. It had cowboys, and the whole bit. I can't remember who starred in it. Colby, I LOVED the Nanny, too!!! That was a really funny show and I was so sad when it ended. I will always remember the episode where Fran's "uncle" was a Cher impersonator with a huge, black, curly wig and dress on!! That was hilarious...he was a huge guy, and it was just so funny. Haha...well, sorry Dee, but I have to say I was probably about Colby's age when Dr. Quinn was on, too. How old are you now, Colby? I'm turning 19 in July. I was thinking of another show I used to kind of like when I was real little...Golden Girls. I can remember watching that with my mom when I was just a teenie little thing. Julie

Julie, I loved "Murphy Brown!" I also miss "Cheers," "Chicago Hope," and (see if anyone remembers this) "LA Law." I'll miss "Judging Amy," too.
"Twh and a Half Men" is rapidly becoming one of my favorites, and "Grey's Anatomy" isn't too bad, either (I'm trying to gird myself for the day when "ER" comes to an end).

Yes, Joanne...it sure would be nice if "Joan of Arcadia" could be saved!
Debbie, I have seen reruns of "Cheers" but don't remember when it actually used to be on. I remember "Chicago Hope"...that was a really good show! Also, does anyone remember "Northern Exposure"? I used to kind of like that show.
"LA Law"...not sure that I ever watched much of that, but I remember hearing it was good.
"Two and a Half Men" is pretty funny...the little boy is Ray Romano's son. I like "Grey's Anatomy"...just as it premiered it seemed like the season finale came! Lol. I can't wait for a full season of it...looks like it's going to be a good show. "Desperate Houswives" grew on me, too.

Cheers was a great show, hated to see that one end. Northern Exposure was really different... Me and Matt watched it all the time, it was his favorite at the time...even got him a moose head for christmas ornament one year! Golden girls was a funny show too, with a really great cast of women! I used to watch LA for a while but than they started getting so many different people I didn't care for it. DEE

Julie/Dee - It took me a long while to warm up to "Northern Exposure," but I got hooked eventually. Same thing with "LA Law." I mean, who could foget Roz falling down that elevator shaft!!!! (and, man, she deserved it, too!) "Cheers" was on around the late '80s, I think, and had a good LONG run (11 years maybe?). I remember for the show's finale, they included a live special from Boston's Bull & Finch Bar (the bar Cheers was modeled after), and all of the cast members were there, drunk off their you-know-whats!
Anybody here remember "Soap?" By today's standards, it's pretty tame, but when it was new, no one EVER missed an episode! I just can't seem to get into "Desparate Housewives" though.
Thank God for reruns!
Debbie

I think my parents used to watch "Cheers". I know it was on in the 80's, and I was probably just old enough to remember it when it went off, but I don't recall ever seeing it back then.
I don't remember "Soap", although it almost seems to me that I can remember my mom talking about it before.
My mom isn't really into "Desperate Housewives", either, Debbie. Some episodes are better than others... I like it, but I don't have to watch it religiously, if you know what I mean.
