Oops! I saw this post the other day and meant to reply, but forgot to until now! I wasn't sure if you were talking to me or the other Julie. Lol. But now that I am thinking back, I guess I did mention the possibility of me going on a trip to Florida. I was supposed to go after I graduate in June, but right now that's still up in the air. We will eventually go, but it may not be immediately after graduation. Which is fine with me...as long as I get to go, it doesn't matter when!! Julie

I just found out today that I may be getting to go to Florida in June of 2006. I am in Show Choir at school and my director told us today that she would like to hold auditions in the spring for next year's show choir (but that requires the administration's approval, so she is awaiting the go-ahead from them) and then have fundraising activities over the summer. I am a senior and 3 other kids are seniors, but she told us that we are invited to go on the trip because she feels bad that we couldn't go this year. I'd be able to participate in the fundraising, and then pay out of pocket for what I didn't fundraise. In all, she is thinking it would cost about $500 per student, but that doesn't include spending money. That might sound like a lot, but it really isn't because she wants to stay in Orlando at Disney World for about 10 days. The whole point of the trip is so the Show Choir can do a few performances at Disney world for a Festival that is held down there...but ofcourse another big reason to go is to have fun at Disney!! Anyway, I still may be going down to Florida at some point with my family as I mentioned a long time ago, but that would be a total road-trip thing whereas the trip with the Show Choir would most likely be by plane and we'd be staying at the Disney resort. So Yay! Just thought I'd share the news...If it works out, then it will be so much fun even despite the fact that I will be through my first year of college and out of the high school mode. Julie
