I know there are a bunch of big Cyndi fans like me on here! So I thought I'd let you all know...Tonight at 7:30 pm eastern time, on the Disney Channel, Cyndi's gonna be on that show, That's So Raven. She plays an art teacher I believe. I don't know how big her part will be or anything but it should be fun to see all the same!

I thought she looked adorable too Lisa...! My cut is modeled after Cyndi's hair - wish I could always make it do the fun things she does! I'll have to actually go back and watch my tape later to really see what she did - I only caught glimpses of her here and there cause I was in the middle of carrying in groceries and making dinner. Speaking of Cyndi as an actress...has anyone seen any of her movies? I've seen her in The Opportunists with Christopher Walken and in Off and Running - the movie she did where she met her husband, David Thornton (the guy in The Notebook ). They're both pretty obscure movies - I doubt either of them is available on DVD even. Actually, I know Off and Running isn't. But I enjoyed both of them a lot. Now I want to see Vibes - she plays a psychic with Jeff Goldblum - but I've yet to be able to find it anywhere...

No I haven't Megen...but I just love her! My kids love the GOONIES song...that's how they know her! She does a video to that song..and it's on the DVD! I just bought the AT LAST live in NY cd. Can't wait to hear that...wished she would have done the combination of songs in Chicago like she did in NY. That would have ROCKED! She just did AT LAST...which was good...but I really missed a lot of Cyndi's hits...really, really miss a song of hers that she sang on the tour that is not yet released called "STILL WITH ME"..Love, Love, Love that song!! LMK if you find out about her movies coming out on DVD would ya Meg?? Love her...She's awesome...so so awesome...She came right up to me and sang in Chicago at a small club promoting AT LAST..I had a Cher shirt on...and was in the last row...Jumping...Giving her the I Love you sign...and she came from the stage and walked on the tables and came right up to me..I about died! IT WAS INCREDIBLE!! Love when she does that!! She shook my hand...was so so cool...I just said "YOU ROCK CYNDI..WE LOVE YOU".. She was singing STAY...which was GREAT!

I saw Vibes and really liked it but I am partial to her as well as Cher so you would have to see it for yourself.. I also have the At Last DVD Live from Town Hall and that is very fun to watch.. She goes out in the audience, stands on the seats, sings in people's laps, VERY COOL!!! When I went to Philly in 02 for Cher, Cyndi was singing Shine and we were floor section but it was 6 so it was pretty darn far back.. Cyndi ran down the aisle, up the steps, down the steps and sang Shine right in front of me.. My friend kept pushing me more and more to get right there but she was right in front of me, LOL.. It was awesome!!! And I just joined the DVD club and I got 12 Deadly Cyns DVD, it has all her videos that I grew up with plus she does commentary from Coney Island.. I watched half of it so far and it's cool.. When she was in Houston they did Money Changes Everything in Live video and she goes in a garbage can and flies through the air singing, I was like OMG, LOL.. She is so full of fun!!!

I'll keep you posted if I hear anything about those movies on DVD Di... Isn't Goonies a great movie? I saw it for the first time a few years ago...even though it was apparently a big movie for my generation I guess I somehow missed it as a kid! lol Still With Me - I agree - a gorgeous song no doubt about it. I still remember hearing it for this first time in Philly. Speaking of Philly - Lisa how ironic we were at the same show! Was that the first night or the second night? I was there both nights - the first night my best friend and I had great seats, 14 rows back. But the second night I went night of to see what I could get - I went to the box office and the lady was like, "How's row 3 dead center," and i was like "Yeah!" and then she said, "Oops...mistake!" Lol I nearly killed her - Anyway I ended up in the front of the second section back that night...not too bad. But the best way to see Cyndi, I think, is in a really small venue. Like you must have seen her in Di... My mom and I saw her twice now at this small club in DC called the 9:30 club and both times we were front row cause it was the whole first come, run and fend for yourselves deal, lol. The first time there was a bar and some space between us and the stage but Cyndi still took the flowers we brought for her, and later saw me holding my True Colors LP and started talking to me about it - I asked if she'd sign it and she did! It was awesome. The second time was even awesomer though cause there was no bar and we were literally smack up against the stage dead center! My hands were on the stage most of the night and I had to keep fighting these thoughts in my brain that said, "Megen, her leg's right there - just touch it," over and over again. lol I literally looked straight up at Cyndi, about 2 or 3 feet away from me, for most of the night...Again she took our flowers we brought for her and she took my hand afterwards. "It was a night to remember..." I love the Town Hall At Last DVD too - have you guys watched the extras?? Its HILARIOUS when she and her friend are driving around NYC at night and she's taping footage. Its so funny I love it! I love that collection of music videos too, Lisa. She's such a talented artist. Now I really want to see Vibes!

Cyndi is awesome! Yvette and I saw her at FOXWOODS, and we had 3d row!!!!!!!!! She frequently came down off the stage, and walked around....she even sat on the guys lap next to me! she was everywhere!!! I got to touch her back a few times when she walked by... AND THEN... during the "Girls just wanna have fun", she let people come on stage, and YVETTE AND I GOT ON STAGE! so now I can always say I was on stage singing and dancing with Cyndi!! It was such an adrenaline rush!!!!!!! yayay CYNDI! lol My favorite song by her is "All through the night" ..even though I love Girls, and many others!! but I especially love that one! I wish she was opening for Cher at the Hollywood Bowl.. that would make the evening complete!

I saw Cyn on That's so raven. She was soo funny!! I loved her glasses! hehe. Yeah I saw Cyndi a lot in concert. I can't even count. But, the last time I saw her was in Atlantic City, at the Hilton. I made her a fan book, and I handed it to her during "Girls just wanna have fun".
