I sent Tommy an e-mail earlier and got a response to it soon after (I'm still impressed that he actually takes the time to e-mail everyone back!). Just thought I'd share it with you, not that it's that exciting. I know that some of Cher's crew did go through Maine one way or another, because after they were done with Nova Scotia and headed to CT, there is no possible way that they couldn't have gone through. What I am wondering is if Cher flew or rode down on her bus.... if she rode on her bus, then she was in Maine and stupid me never even thought about driving around to spot the bus (I know it would be near impossible to know when they would be going through and etc., but it's still the thought that Cher could have been in my state!). There is only two ways, besides flying, to go from Canada to CT...one way would be to take the interstate which would pass right through my town (yikes!) and the other would be to take the CAT Ferry which is here in Maine.
Anyways, here is the e-mail....
Hey Julie,
To be honest, I don't know if any of the tour went through Maine. I
have my wife out with me so we flew. Sorry we aren't playing
portland again, I really enjoy your city.
Thanks for the email.

Hey Tommy,
I've been following your journal and I'm glad to hear
that you are continuing to enjoy yourself! I was
really happy to hear that you would be touring with
Cher once again, because she could never have a better
show opener than you. Anyways, I haven't been able to
attend any of her shows this year (I saw you open for
Cher in July of '03 in Portland, ME), but just wanted
to let you know that I have talked with several people
who have, and they have all said that they really
enjoy you a lot and always look foward to seeing you
when they go.
The other reason I'm e-mailing you is because I've been curious to know if you and Cher & the 'gang' travelled through Maine when you were headed to CT,
and if so, if you rode through on the busses or went
on the CAT ferry. If you did go through Maine, I wish
Cher had added a tour date for Portland so I could
have seen not only her but you as well...
Ohwell...maybe this tour will keep being extended for
awhile and perhaps there is still hope of all of you
coming back for a show or two. If not, atleast I have
great memories of an awesome show last year, and I
still feel lucky that you were her opener because I
enjoyed your act a lot.
Take care & good luck with the rest of the tour,
Julie Adams
