I wanted to let everyone know the company I work for is managing a huge charity auction on ebay to celebrate the release of The Kite Runner. Many different celebs signed kite tails to be paired with handmade Afghan kites and auctioned off to raise money for the Afghanistan Relief Organization. They had alot of great celebs lined up, and the production company we are working with asked for more names we thought would make money. My first thought was 'CHER!', and told them so. LOL. A week later, they let us know they were able to get her to sign two tails for us! you can view the auctions at ebay.com/kiterunner- just scroll down the list. One tail of hers is at $51, the other at $15 as of this writing. The winner will also get a thank you card signed by Cher.
