Hi everybody!
I just arrived from Glasgow and I'm really tired but I wanted to tell you something about my very first Cher concert.
At about 10 am I went to the arena, just to find out that I wasn't first: there were already two people there (REALLY nice).
A couple of minutes later one of the most die hard Cher fans I've ever talked to showed up. She had been to every one of the shows so far,
and were up for several more. She was extremely nice, helped us out with everything, bought one-time cameras and showed us how to hide them properly
Anyway, eight and a half hours later, we were still in front of the doors (but the queue had grown bigger) and when they FINALLY opened them,
me and my newly found friends walked really fast (read "ran") and managed to get up front, in the middle, two metres away from the stage!
Cher was awesome!! Very talkative and cool. I hadn't read about the changes in the set list before the show, so she really surprised us
with the medley and Love Hurts (which is one of my favourites).
And then when they started to play the intro to IICTBT, I was so nervous that I was shaking. Everything went excellent, though.
My had landed a couple of inches from Cher's feet. She looked at it, smiled, looked up, smiled, looked down, smiled, looked up and then reached down and grabbed it.
Try to guess how fast my heart was beating by then...
I had decorated my hat with a big black leather cross in the middle, small flashing lights in between each "arm" of the cross and gold stars
around the whole thing.
I just can't describe how I felt when she picked up my hat. I have never felt like that before.
I didn't manage to get my hat back, unfortunately, but that's not something I'm gonna cry about for months. What's important is that she
picked MY hat!!!!!!! ;D
The two hours of the concert were the best hours of my life, so far. And one hour after the concert ended, I turned 18. I'm a big boy now... ;-)
Puh! I'm done for now. Please excuse my English, I'm still so excited!
