Your Inbox May Be Infected May 3, 2005, 5:57 PM Web Producer: Jason Bailey
You may want to keep a close eye on your email account inbox Tuesday. Internet service providers are warning of a nationwide virus outbreak that began on Monday.
The virus is a variant of the "W-32 dot sober worm" which automatically spreads through email.
According to Evansville Online, the infected attachments come with one of the following titles:
Our_secret.zip, mail_info.zip, error-mail_info.zip, account_info.zip, accounty_info-text.zip,our secret dot zip.
If you see one of these attachments, you are advised to delete it without opening it.
