My heart goes out to the people that were hit extremely hard on the west coast of Florida!! I know they have a long road ahead of them cleaning up and rebuilding!!! I THANK GOD that nothing at my house in Orlando was destroyed. Lots of debris & tree limbs everywhere...couldn't see the front yard, driveway or even the street. (I was extremely terrified here!! I could hear the rumbling "freight train" coming thru several times!!! My co-worker asked me if I went outside to see the "green lightening"... I said...hell no, I was hunkered down in a hallway!!!) But, I was extremely lucky and got power back on the day after the hurricane. LOTS of people are without power here right now. LOTS of people are struggling with trees on their houses and literally destroying rooms. Just spoke to a co-worker and she said a large oak tree fell thru a neighbor's house and they are fighting "squirrels" that are running around in the house!! Her parents house was destroyed by trees falling on it and they are fighting mosquitos while they are trying to get their belongs out of their house.
It's been an emotional weekend. It was very scary, but I'm very thankful to God for getting me through this!!!!!!!!

I didn't realize you live in Orlando! I'm glad you made it through safely! I love that area! We have a friend (formerly from PA) who lives in Orlando. I know it was bad there, but glad it wasn't worse! Take care! You know where to come if you need friendly ears! Susan

I'm glad you made it through OK, too. Everything fizzled by the time it got up here to the northeast part of the country, but I feel very badly for all the people who have been affected by this storm in Florida. My thoughts are with all of you down there.

I'm glad you were safe and you made it through.. That is so scary.. We had a tornado warning coming through Schuylkill County and it was hitting the town that my mom and dad live in.. I called them right away, dad was caught in an aweful storm and sat in his car.. Then the tornado moved to a town 6 miles from me.. Nothing happened with the tornado then just very heavy downpours, flooding and wind.. Thank god everything was alright then..
