Lisa, I am sooo sorry, if there is anything I can do to help let me know. Boy, I hate bees (wasps are the worst!). Got stung by a nest when I was young so I know how you feel. Take "Cher" DEE

Lisa: sorry to hear about your run in with that nasty bee, and I hope you feel better soon.
I've been stung by a bee two times... the first was when I was about 8 years old... It's funny because when I left my house, I was wearing a pair of blue jeans, and my mom said, "it's hot outside today, you should go put on a pair of shorts." But I was in a hurry, so I didn't and I went over to my friend Tom's house... We were playing in his front yard, and a bee crawled up my pants leg!! I started swatting at my leg trying to get it out, but I could feel it crawling up my leg... of course, it stung me right in my thigh... The first thing I said after it was all over: "Why didn't I listen to my mom?" If I had put on a pair of shorts, it wouldn't have happened...
The second time was when I was 17, and I was riding my motorcycle to work... A bee came and stung me right on my upper lip... I tried to swat it away before it stung me, but it happened so fast, and I was trying so hard not to freak out so that I wouldn't get in an accident... I walk into work, and everyone was all, "OMG, WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR LIP?"

Lisa, where's that f*@#>% bee? I'll smash it, just spread it all over the ground for ya. I hate bees, bugs, mosquitos - all that outdoor s**t. I hope you feel better soon. Dann - Years ago when bell bottoms were FIRST around in the early 70's, I was walking with an old gardener and he was giving me tips on my first garden when I was married. As we walked around his yard, a bee crawled up my pants leg - so I know what you're talking about!!! I got stung on my knee. WOW that hurt. I couldn't get my pants off fast enough!!! Next time I feel anything crawling up my pants leg - OFF THEY COME!!! And I don't care who's around!!! ;D Yvette

Hope you're feeling much better now, Lisa. Bee stings are nasty, and, of course, if an allergy is involved, they can be much more serious than that.
I'm really glad you were able to get treatment as quickly as you did. Take it easy, girl, get some rest, and let us know how you're doing.

Ohhh, Lisa, that's awful! Poor thing. Really, bee stings suck enough without an allergic reaction; that really isn't fair. Feel better soon!

Oh no, not my Lisa! I'm so sorry to hear that! I haven't been stung by a bee for a while, but I know I didn't like it! Our board is really hurtin'! My prayers are with you all. Get well soon, my friend!

Thanks all for writing, I appreciate it very much.. You guys are the best.. Yvette you literally made me LMAO when you wrote that, thanks wish you would have been here to do that.. ;D It was a really close call for me, ugh.. That never happened to me before, yes I was stung by bees before but never that.. It is very scary, very.. The nurse said if it would happen again it will be worse.. So the dr. prescribed 3 Epi-pens, 1 for purse, 1 for car and 1 for home.. Then I had to take this medicine, well I got an allergic reaction to that and back to the ER I went, what a mess!!!! So now add that to my allergy list.. Never had any type of allergies until that bee sting.. So I'm starting to feel better now and went back to work yesterday, ugh, work didn't make me feel better though, LOL.. Thanks again Cher pals for thinking of me, Luv, Lisa Ooops, forgot to add this.. Isn't it ironic when I was replying to this post there was an add above that said Bee removal, yikessssssss, where were they when I needed them.. LOL..

Glad you were well enough to go back to work! Well, you know what I mean, glad you are feeling better! Don't you love the topic appropriate ads? they are a little odd the first time you realize they are there. I'm thinking of starting a topic that has to do with handsome, intelligent single guys! ;D Susan

Glad you recovered from your bee stinging Lisa!!!
My gramma is deathly allergic to bees and she carries those Epi pens too. I was stung once in middle school and I was so afraid I was gonna have a bad reaction but luckily I didn't.

Thanks Megen.. I know how your poor gramma feels now.. It is very scary, hope she will be ok as well.. Yes keep those pens handy wherever she goes cuz you just never know.. Makes me feel like I am looking forward to winter.. Don't wanna see a bee ever again.. Thanks Susan , I do know what you mean, that place just makes me feel ill.. It's getting to be toooooo much there anymore.. Susan, good idea let's start that topic just for fun, LOL.. You never know what may appear.. Yea really weird, I was reading this and when I looked up and there was stuff about bee removal, bee specialists and another one I can't remember, LOL..
