know of any good bootleg shops that do like concerts.. of all sorts.. not just Cher.. that's an added bonus. somewhere relatively close to time square, and Madison Square Garden.. I refuse to take subway.. cus I have no desire to get lost.. and arent cabs expsensive? so like walking distance to time square etc..
also.. any other advice on how to get around? I know a good chunk of people walk in NYC, etc.. any help and info would be so appreciated

I always take the bus, its cheaper than cabs and easier than the subway, you can also see where you are because your above ground. I dont know of any particular bootleg shops buy there are plenty in chinatown.

Not sure how he's feeling..he was not doin too great hopin he feels up and about soon though..and can make it..I know Sheri wants to see him..Umm Tim no Serendipity is nowhere near MSG..it's 60th betw 2nd and 3rd..For Chinatown (where my buddy Sheri is eating lunch today w/Tim)..just take the A or C DOWNTOWN to Canal street..just like very few stops..right there..Chinatown rocks..Wo Hop..YUMMMMM..NY's best..It's hard to eat LI food after u grow up w/that..I used to be a Bklyn born and raised girl and we'd go there almost every wk..Not that LI chinese bad..but not the same..San Francisco's chinatown was pretty but the food was nowhere close to NY's Chinatown..no way jose..the village is close to Chinatown..the Village u just take the A or C downtown to W 4th Street..I'll tell Sheri to send u her map after her trip this weekend:) It's real easy..cos w/cabs in NY it takes longer and u gotta be rich my friend

I've walked it before..it's 225 E 60th BETW 2nd and 3rd it's not bad on a nice warm day but it's a long walk cross town cos it's 7th 6th 5th Madison Lexington Park then I think 1st 2nd 3rd..so many cross town blocks..the other part is 34th till 60th St..I've done it but wouldn't in the cold winter! Would take ya about a little under an hr or if u walk fast 40 min maybe LOL..take the train faster and easier..Sheri only will need map thru the weekend..sure she'll let ya borrow it or it's also avail at the stores and Pt Authority..they're usually free..Real easy..if u know ur #'s really can't get lost..Dave found his way around and he was from Australia and Sheri's pretty good too..whipping around town and she's from MI..She just called from Chinatown..they found Wo hop Frank..YUMMMMMMMMMM
