MOONSTRUCK: Deluxe Edition on DVD April 18Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced the release of the upcoming deluxe edition of the 1987 romantic comedy "Moonstruck" starring Academy Award winners Cher, Nicolas Cage and Olympia Dukakis. The film will be presented in Anamorphic Widescreen, along with an English Dolby Digital 5.1 track. Extras include a commentary, featurettes and more. The disc will be available to own when it hits store shelves April 18, 2006. Under the magic of the full moon, an Italian-American family tries to sort out their romantic entanglements and find happiness. Tired of being single, and longing for security, widow Loretta Castorini (Cher) agrees to marry Johnny Cammareri (Aiello), a man she admittedly doesn't love. While he visits his dying mother in Sicily, she visits his estranged brother Ronny (Cage) in order to invite him to the wedding, and, much to her surprise, finds herself deeply attracted to him. Loretta's parents have equally complex romantic lives; her father is involved in a long-term affair, while her mother is avidly pursued by a college professor. Will they all be able to take a chance on love again? DVD Details: * Anamorphic Widescreen * English Dolby Digital 5.1 * Commentary with Cher, Director Norman Jewison and Writer John Pat Moon* Women and the Fear of Death documentary * 'Feuds, Curses and the Family' featurette * The Art of fine Italian Food featurette * A Tour of Little Italy featurette To see the cover photo of the Deluxe Edition, click here: www.moviesonline.ca/movienews_7375.html
