There are a few Cher mentions in the July 2005 issue of "Blender" magazine (Shakira is on the cover):
On pages 55 - 58 is an article on the "Worst Rock Dads Of All Time", and Elijah Blue is one of three "experts" who made comments. A small picture of Elijah is on page 55, along with this:
OUR EXPERTS
TRAVIS BARKER -- Drummer with the on-hiatus blink-182, star of MTV's "Meet The Barkers" and father of two.
DR. DREW PINSKY -- Medical director of the Department of Chemical Dependency Services at Pasadena's Las Encinas Hospital and host of Discovery Health Channel's "Strictly Sex With Dr. Drew."
ELIJAH BLUE -- Frontman of Deadsy, currently at work on their third album, and son of Cher and mercurial Gregg Allman.
Elijah's comments were about the fathers of Leann Rimes and Marvin Gaye:
WILBUR RIMES
WHO? Father and onetime manager/producer of country songbird Leann.
PARENTAL ADVISORY: Wilbur worked his teen daughter hard, booking her to perform 500 shows in less than four years. "I was in a fishbowl," she told Blender in 2002. When she was 15, an exhausted Leann passed out onstage. In 2000 the singer sued her father, accusing him of "gross mismanagement." Leann alleged that Wilbur had charged her as producer, manager and guardian -- "triple-dipping" -- and had stolen over $7 million from her. Leann also sought to be free of her contract with Curb Records. When a court sided with Curb, she turned to her father and declared, "I hate you."
EXPERT OPINION: "There should be boundaries in a familial relationship," says Elijah Blue. "I did play guitar with my mom for a while. It was fun but, at the end of the day, you're still with your parent and it's just uncool."
WORST ROCK DAD EVER! -- MARVIN GAY, SR.
WHO? Father of soul legend Marvin Gaye.
PARENTAL ADVISORY: A spanking-happy disciplinarian and evangelical minister, Gay Sr. taught his son Marvin to play the piano but was outraged when he decided to become a singer, telling him, "the road you're choosing is not only wrong but impossible." Frankie Gaye claimed that his brother's subsequent success made his father angry and jealous. In the early '80s, Marvin, who had become hopelessly addicted to cocaine, returned home to live with his parents. On April 1, 1984, an argument escalated between father and son until Gay Sr. fatally shot Marvin with a gun the singer had bought him several months earlier.
EXPERT OPINION: "It's no surprise that jealousy would be the thing that would drive him to murder," says Elijah Blue. "Fame is so powerful that you don't see your kid anymore. You just see someone who's upstaging you. People become fame junkies."

On pages 104 - 109 is an article called "33 Things You Should Know About LIVE AID"... and one of these "things" is:
#14. PHIL COLLINS RECRUITED CHER ON THE CONCORDE
"The organizers said, 'Why don't we fly some people from London to Philadelphia on the Concorde to play both shows,'" remembers Phil Collins. "It was never supposed to be just me; it was supposed to be Duran Duran and The Power Station as well. They didn't do it in the end and I was uncomfortable being in the limelight like that. When I got on the plane, Cher was traveling as a regular passenger. She didn't know about Live Aid and asked if I could get her on the bill. I said, 'Just turn up, it'll be fine.' So she canceled her plans and performed."
