For me, it's LIVING PROOF (Japan version) and a 2-CD set that a friend made for me of various Cher ballads... He titled it CHER SOUL: A COLLECTION OF BALLADS, and here's the songs that he put on it:
Disc A: Still / Stars / (It's Been) Hard Enough Getting Over You / I'd Rather Believe In You / The Way Of Love / One By One (US Version) / When Lovers Become Strangers / My Song (Too Far Gone) / With Or Without You / The Greatest Song I Ever Heard / Island / Song Called Children / Love Hurts (STARS Version)
Disc B: A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makes / What About The Moonlight (original version) / The Fall (Kurt's Blues) / Chastity Sun / Love And Pain / Love Can Build A Bridge / Just This One Time / He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother / Our Lady Of San Francisco / I Saw A Man And He Danced With His Wife / Angels Running (original version) / After All (with Peter Cetera) / Many Rivers To Cross (live at The Mirage)
The non-Cher CDs that I've listened to recently:
Fischerspo oner -- ODYSSEY Erasure -- NIGHTBIRD Duran Duran -- ASTRONAUT Collective Soul -- YOUTH New Order -- WAITING FOR THE SIRENS' CALL Moby -- HOTEL Jamiroquai -- A FUNK ODYSSEY

Ericka: I just checked out the tracklisting for the MR. & MRS. SMITH soundtrack, and there's lots of cool tunes on there... Are the remakes of "I Melt With You" and "Nobody Does It Better" any good? What do you think of Magnet and Gemma Hayes' version of "Lay Lady Lay"? I really dig it, and it has a really cool music video too... I got Magnet's ON YOUR SIDE album last year, and I love it... Can't wait to get his new album (THE TOURNIQUET), but it's only been released in Norway so far, and it won't be released here until Fall...

The Cher Cd's I've been listening to are "It's A Man's World" (U.S. version), "Living Proof" (just started listening again to this one about 2 weeks ago, The Farewell CD, Greatest Hits (U.K.), and a CD a friend made for me with "Human", "Baby, I'm Yours" and other gems. Other artists: Michael Buble "It's Time" (mostly for the song "Home"), and Katrina Carlson "Untucked" (mostly for the song "I Know You By Heart" duet with Benny Mardones.
This was a great idea, fun to see what other people are listening to.

Here's the music I've been listening to lately:
Donna Summer -- BAD GIRLS and THE WANDERER (listened to both of them last night going to and on the way home from a Donna Summer concert...)
Cher -- not.com.mercial ("Disaster Cake" and "Fit To Fly" are just the perfect "summer driving songs")
Ceremony -- HANG OUT YOUR POETRY (I found a cassette copy, never been opened, for 49 cents at a used record store a couple of months ago, so I've been listening to that in my car a lot -- I love that my car plays both CDs and cassettes!! Now only if it would play vinyl albums, I'd be all set!)
Lisa Marie Presley -- NOW WHAT (Love it to death!! She's beautiful and she sounds like Cher... what's not to love?!?)
The All-American Rejects -- MOVE ALONG (I discovered this great band right after their debut CD was released when I saw their "Swing Swing" video... and then shortly after, I read an interview and the lead singer said that one of his favorite bands is INXS, so that sealed the deal for me...)
Berlin -- 4PLAY -- it's an EP of mostly cover songs... my favorite is "For What It's Worth" ("Stop, now, what's that sound? / Everybody look what's going down" -- Cher sang it on 3614 JACKSON HIGHWAY), and it also has a super awesome version of Marilyn Manson's "The Dope Show".
Hmmmmm, what else? I also bought the new Superchumbo CD, WOWIE ZOWIE... but I only bought it because it included the song "Tranquiler" with vocals by Neil Tennant of Pet Shop Boys... and that's the only song on the CD that I've listened to so far... but the CD does include two tracks sung by Sylvia Mason-James, and I love her! She sings a lot of background vocals for Pet Shop Boys, and she was one of the background vocalists for Cher's "Strong Enough"...
Anyways, how about you? what 'cha been listening to lately??

Been blasting it since some of my friends saw her at Jones and said she was great..and a co worker lent me the new Kelly Clarkson..but I dunno can't get into it that much..it's not bad..but just ok for me..think she has good voice though..guess it stuck in my brain when we tried to met her real quick one time in NY and she seemed kinda stuck up like..maybe it embedded in my brain! LOL ..But I did vote for her at the time and think she's talented and Dann ur gonna laugh but actually pulled out my old INXS cd the other nite..guess Rock Star made me wanna re listen to that..love it

Guess it depends who is in my car as to what I am listening to there. I have been listening to Cher Gold both cds and the hollywood bowl final cds (yes, I finally got them from DI!!LOL!). If Pat is in the car or home we have to listen to Reba (of course!) cds that Kirk made him. Matt, we usually listen to Cyndi Lauper. Right train, wrong track is one that he likes a lot. Nick listened to some cd that he made and I could not even tell you who it was!!!! It really wasn't to bad though. On my cleaning days I listen to celine, Tina Turner, Cher Greatest Hits cd, and the Eagles greatest hits cd. DEE
