I tried posting a reply yesterday, but before I got to post it my computer shut down and restarted itself (thankfully it's not going off to college with me...I will be getting a new one, and this will stay at home with my parents). Then one of my friends was having a party I had to get to, so here I am now finally trying again... First off, thank you so much Joanne! It was a real surprise to see this thread on here. Thanks for the kind words. You guys are all going to make me cry!! Thank you Joanne, Jan, Lisa, Dee, Debbie, Michael, Julie, Colby, and Susan!!! You guys are all the best... I feel so lucky to be a part of this board, and hope to never lose touch with any of you. I can't believe I have finally graduated!! I can still remember when I went for my Kindergarten screening and then my first day of school. It almost seems like yesterday in some ways. In hindsight, it does appear to me that time really does fly, even if at moments it seems that things will never end. Lisa, we really need to schedule an AOL meeting in the near future to catch up on everything! I've missed you! Haha...I found someone special? LOL. Nope...no one is more special that all of you here at the board. But, there is someone new in my life that I have been wanting to tell you about... They make me really happy, but I've making them feel left out, too, with being so wrapped up in last-minute grauation things, etc. I apologize for not being on here as much lately...but now that school has ended, I think I will finally have much more time to sit down and keep up on everything throughout the summer. And I promise to still keep in touch even once I'm in college! Thank again everyone...it really means a lot to me that you all care so much. I love you all!!! Julie

LOL...when I was busy with last-minute graduation things I wasn't on the board for awhile, and when I got back, there were a boat load of new messages I had to catch up on!! And I plan on rockin' every minute with my Cher music blasting away. Hey, who knows....either I will make a Cher fan out of my roomate or we'll be enemies. Haha. Thanks again. Julie

I agree Dorothy..Gosh I miss college soooooo much..Some of my BEST yrs man..if I could TURN BACK TIME I'd go back in a heartbeat but as much as I loved my broadcasting major I'd go for the teaching if I could do it all again (now too broke from cher to go back:( ..cos my original field I graduated in is all connections:( Unless my fellow cher connectors Megen and Gaby get hooked up and then hook me up! HINT HINT! LOL..But enjoy it my friend..I know u will love it:) great fun great times..great experience:)

Dorothy! Good to see you on here! Yes, I remember you from back when I used to post on the "official" board. How have you been, fellow "Mainah"? I went to see the Seadogs last night... they lost to Trenton, 6-7. I'm not a big baseball fan, but it was fun. And thanks again, Jan. Julie

Julie I have been good. Looking for a teaching job right now. Haven't been to a Sea Dogs game yet this summer. Those games are fun. Going to see "Hello Dolly" today at the Arundel Barn Playhouse. Enjoy your summer!

Dorothy, my sister is also looking for a teaching job. She has filled out countless applications, but nothing so far. She majored in elementary ed at Orono. Hope you enjoyed the play. I'm not familiar with the Arundel Barn Playhouse. On Friday in Augusta the Allman Brothers are coming, with Gavin Degraw as their opener. I really wanted to go, if nothing else just to say I saw them...I could have gotten 2 floor tickets on ebay for $50, but forgot to remind my mom to bid on them before it ended...I was at work and thought "oh no". But, turns out I have to work Friday anyway and since it's a new job, I don't think they'd like me already taking a day off. Otherwise we would have just called the civic center and ordered tickets. Thanks...enjoy your summer, too! Julie
