Hey James, Lisa, Dee, and Susan! For those that don't know me, my name is Dann and I live in Columbus, Ohio. I'm 37 and have been a Cher fan "since birth"... LOL! I'm not able to personalize the welcome letter you guys are sent from the board registration so let me just say it here, since everyone will probably read this thread. What a nice new "home" we all have here. Thanks Susan. It`s like a breath of fresh air and if you had told me a week ago that I`d be "wanting" to post anywhere again, I wouldn`t have believed you. Hey all, glad to see some of the 'oldies' from the "umentionable" board...hehe. Also glad to see new people. I just want to thank you, Susan, for making this board possible and if there is ever anything I can do to help, just give me a holler! ;D
Oh, and I have a quick question.... I registered on here (as Harmony86), but now I can't seem to log in. I tried to retrieve the my password (as I must have been given a tempoary one but somehow missed what it was), but it won't go through (it stays on the same page forever, saying that it will retreive it and then send it to my e-mail). Susan, is there any way that you could e-mail it to me or something? Thanks a bunch!

Hey Julie, Welcome! I don't have access to your password, but you ARE showing as registered. Server #3 (the one we are on) has been a little slow, but it is supposed to be solved today or tomorrow. Forgot to say a little more about me, I'm 33, been a fan since 10 yrs. old,I'm from Pa., you probably knew that already with all my boring stories from the other place,  .. I have been to 6 Farewell Tours since 2002, I couldn't get to any other tours, which I'm sorry that I couldn't, so I made up for it.. I want to make up for it even more if she comes back to the U.S. after touring Europe , cross your fingers!! Love you all too.. |

My favorite Cher song is Turn Back Time, album is Very Best Of Cher (import version), Sonny & Cher song I got You Babe, Sonny & Cher album The Kapp Collection, Cher movie, Mermaids/Mask (cant make up my mind). My favorite Cher era is the 60s and 70s because she was doing things no one had ever done before. I guess she was creating the word that we would come to know as DIVA!!!! I dont care what anyone says, She is the oringial Diva. In my opinon there was none before her. AMEN!!!! James TEXT |

Oh No Jan  I have to work that w/e and they are being real jerks lately.. They said if you're sick, want vacation or anything, if you don't have your own coverage you can't have off at all.. I am looking to get out of there, still nothing around for jobs yet but I must definitly find something else.. The management sux if I must say, they are getting more rotten by the day and I took enough beatings there to last me a lifetime,*shudders*, just thinking it will be soon time to get back to work.. Yea Jan, the 4th is in my 8 day stretch and of course another working holiday.. Hopefully something will work out though.. On a different note, yes James, sure wasn't that long but it felt like an eternity.. Sure glad we are all here now.. |

Hello! I finally got the e-mail confirming my password in my bulk mail folder! I also got about 9 or 10 e-mails in my inbox saying "Password: Cherconnection -> Harmony86" Hehe. James, I'm not sure if I recall who you are? Did you have a different name on the other board? I used to know so many ppl from the board that I had a hard time keeping track of everyone! Anyways, I am just glad that atleast a few of us are here! Hopefully others will finally see that this board is the best, because it has the best moderator ever! Well, gtg. Hello to everyone once again! A lot of the die-hards here I see! Some of you I know others I recognize the names, hope I can eventually know you all or at least keep everyone straight! Here is a little bit about me, I am from Michigan (yeah, the FROZEN lake state!). I am old...47... and I have been a cher fan since I was 10. I am however new to all of this board stuff so hope I do ok with it.

Dee, 47 is not old. Heck I am 46 and very young at heart. I havent grown up yet so theres no reason to now. I have been a fan since the 60s. First time I saw her beautiful eyes I knew I was hooked for life. I am so glad Cher never gave it up like so many other stars have over the years. But when you are over flowing with beauty and talent how could you. She rocks.

Hey Janet Clark! Glad you're posting here, and I am also really glad that Susan made this message board. She is an awesome moderator who did a terrific job at Cher.com for a long time, and I know this board is going to be one of the best, with messages from true fans who just want to have fun and chat about Cher....
