TEXTHi Susan and Cher friends! Finally made it to your new site Susan...it looks GREAT!  But it's taking me some time to figure it all out...am trying to catch up...and hope this first post goes through...anyway hello all...and just wanted to let you all know, I saw a brief blurb tonight at the end of "Entertainment Tonight" that Cher will be on tomorrow night (Tuesday, April 20th) with a quick thing with Greg Kinner (sp?)...just caught the end of what they were saying...but check it out guys... That's it for now...hope to figure out how to talk to you all soon... Stephanie

Thanks for your welcome Susan & all. Yes, Yvette got the BIG box of Cheez-its for Alexandria!!! Looking forward to seeing you guys again without coats, hats, gloves, etc.
Sorry guys, but did not see Cher on ET tonight. Don't know why. As I said yesterday, I just caught the tail end of it on Monday night...and they said Cher would be on for a quick moment with the out takes from SOY...they even showed Greg Kinner laughing a lot...well maybe in the next few days it will be on...keep those VCR's on....

Stephanie: I saw it on Monday's show, too... well, actually, it was on in the background and I wasn't paying close attention... But I looked up and saw a picture of Cher from SOY (wearing the black fright wig), and figured that they were talking about the DVD... I was all, "Oh no, what did I just miss?" LOL! But then when I saw your post, I was glad that I didn't really miss anything and that it was gonna be on Tuesday's show...
But, like you said, Tuesday's show didn't have anything... but yea, they will probably re-schedule it for another show, so I'll keep my VCR on stand-by and hopefully it will air tonight...

Oh, July 4th in NYC with Cher Friends sounds awesome! But, if Cher comes back to NYC..... maybe I'll make it up there for that!!!!! We can do the going in and out of people's hotel rooms again. (That was the funniest thing. Like Bert said, it was like some COMEDY!! The people at the hotel were just letting Cher Fans in the rooms. I walked into the room and the lady looked at Sheri and asked, "Is this her room?" Sheri just shrugged her shoulders like..."who knows!" Jan & Bert are walking out with their suitcases. We had those hotel people so confused!! LOL!!!! Such FUN!! Even with that freakin RAIN!! .... oh, that's another thing too.... running around in the rain looking for BOOTLEG shirts!!!)

OMG Remember that night in the Hotel Too Funny It was like something from a comedy Jan remember trying to get our bags, from the locked room, so that we could make our tains. That guy in the room next door, didn't know us from Adam & Eve, but he let us stay in his room and use his phone. Then I had left my Cher Money in his bathroom and had to call Security, again, to open up that guys room. I was not leaving without my Cher Money!!!!! I think about it and still laugh. That was one Cher weekend I will never forget!!!!! And our Friends of Cher Tours have become just as memorable. Who could forget 'Spankin the Monkey' and dancing to Cher music with all of the native New Yorkers on the street looking at us, some even danced along with us. Or poor Yvette & Alexandria and Myself having to walk those 10 LONG blocks in the freezing cold. That had to have been the quickest tour of TimeSquare that I have ever given anyone. I don't even know if Yvette & Alexandria managed to get any pictures?  We were so cold & tired & hungry and all we wanted was to find Stephanie's House!!!! Can't wait until this July Fourth weekend so that we can make more memorable moments. - Bert |

God I remember that nite like it was yesterday Bert! Scary part was it was AFTER 9/11 too! LOL..u would think NY security would be better! LOL! god how did he BELIEVE us that was OUR luggage even when u think about it! God we COULD have covered the entire hotel and been filthy rich ! LOL! Kidding..I know this July 4th weekend will be spectacular look for us crazies in our Cher shirts and Bert's tattoo if u watch the fireworks on tv guys! LOL:)

Lisa...thanks for your welcome...though not normally known for their patience...your NYC friends will wait for you whenever you decide to come...and give you a tour of a lifetime!!! Dann...thanks for your reply & name...I too missed ET tonight, and you're probably right that she was on...but someone will let us know...I usually don't watch that show, but after the Cher blurb, watched it the last two nights...but when they showed those gruesome photos of Princess Diana last night, which I found appalling...decided wasn't worth it for a brief glimpse of Cher...feel like the only way to let the media know they have crossed the line is not to watch...so that was the last of ET for me...not that it will stop them just cause I don't watch...but if enough people do maybe it will...just a theory of mine...but happy to see your other VCR alerts...thanks for that.... Jan, Bert & Moonstruck4Cher...your posts made me smile...remembering how I found you guys...not being one for the internet or "groups"...I was looking for Cher tickets one day and came across the description of that special evening that you all posted...I was truly touched by the pure joy & enthusiasm you all wrote about that night, so I joined the group to follow your adventures... (and Bert, I especially remember reading about the guy who went back into the hotel bathroom cause he wasn't leaving his Cher Dollars behind!!! That was the Best!!!...little did I know it was you!!!...but now that I've gotten to know you a bit...of COURSE IT WAS YOU!!! ;D) ...it really must have been a special evening...but your writings about it captured my attention...and even though I was by myself that night trying to get tickets for the concert...with no success...I was happy to read that some real Cher fans had a great time...then Jan contacted me by email...and the rest is history...and now I know I won't be by myself the next time our Diva is in town (and there will be a next time)...I've got my Cher Buds now You guys rock too!!!
