You guys will have a ball in NYC on July 4th.
We really do a darned good job of it in St. Louis (really) so I guess I'll go downtown again this year. Last year it was really hot (in St. Louis in July - go figure!) so I walked around with a mist-spray bottle and sprayed myself down a lot. I offered to spray these four young cops who were conversing - they looked at me like I had mace in the bottle --- Russ walked away so that he could bail me out when they arrested me! One of them said "ok, sure" so I sprayed his face. He was like, "oh, man! that feels great!" so.. then the other guys wanted to get cooled off ---- just a little community service.
Russ told me that he wishes I would stop doing stuff like that, but I am just such a people person, ya know?
anyhoo -- you guys have fun, and if anyone is coming to St. Louis for a really big display, please let me know that you are coming!

That post showed as a member Yvette I don't know what it is but about half of the member's first post or two after joining have them showing as "guest". It's almost as if the sign ups are a little behind. Jan and Bert are still having log in troubles, but I think at least with Jan it is a cookie issue (put the Chips Ahoy down Jan!  ) Anyway, glad to see you all here:) Susan |
