Thx everyone sooooooooooooooooooooooo nervous:( Eek..and now just found out yesterday the lovely Phy therapist who messed up my left leg really did a number while trying to fix the right leg that's being operated on tomorrow..yep it's official as of yesterday she tore it as well:( Unfortunately I asked the surgeon they 'only are allowed to do 1 at a time'  grrrrrrrr..kinda want it all overwith but they said they don't do it that way..other one they prob won't do till next yr he said:( Blows..cos of rehab for one they're doin tomorrow..Anyways..to Elsa..I used to think NY had good drs until recently:( Mine was a whole misdiagnosis mess one..I orig followed up and did my part January 9th..they didn't catch what it was till JUNE!!!! and now the operation set for tomorrow:( eek..thank god this new dr seems really good..geesh.. Anyways..thx to Michael and everyone:) U guys ROCK !  |

Hi everyone,
I heard from Jan last night and her surgery went well. She is in good spirits and says "hello" to everyone! Lets continue to pray for a quick recovery for our Cher buddy. Bob R.

I spoke with Jan for quite a while last night - she sounds really good - and relieved that the surgery is finally over! She wanted me to pass along her thanks for all the well wishes and thoughts and promises she'll be back online just as soon as she can - mobility isn't one of her strong points right now, with 10 steps between floors of her home, well, that makes it pretty impossible right now for her to post or email herself.
We're all thinking of you Jan; and now that the proper diagnosis and treatment are under way, I'm sure you'll have a smooth recovery and be back with us soon!

Hey Guys..only on real brief today..on MEGA painpills..hello VICODIN! LOL..really knocks u out..anyways..yea like Deb said I don't have a laptop ( can't afford it I am a Cher fan) LOL..but for today my relative stopped by and 'just for today' I have one a little bit! LOL..they need it for business though and are taking it back today..hopefully once stitches out maybe I can do steps? the computer is unfortunately downstairs and I completely can't do one step let alone 10:( Anyways..glad surgery over..in mega pain though ..but not even been a wk yet though.praying this all ends soon..unfortunately as Deb and Bob know the lovely phy therapist messed up (and yes TORE!!!!) my meniscus in the other knee as well (the one that was NOT operated on:( Begged surgeon to do Both at once but he said they're not allowed..I was like Pls I got Cher going on here! LOL..needless to say they said they were not allowed not just for insurance reasons (they said no too I asked! LOL) but just a flat NO..the doc said even for his wife he wouldn't do 2 at once..so got a lot ahead of me and endless rehab I know..dr has me outta work..the damage unfortunately was bad he said:( oh well.. Like my grandma always said..this too shall pass ( I Hope)..hated missing Lady Cher (had SUCH good seats this wk too:( And missing Cher convention:( But the girls texted and called and filled me in and having nice time..can't wait to hear more and see everyone's pics..I'm there in spirit..thanks to all for the gifts//the baskets..the food//the cards..the emails etc..Cher fans rock:)...Love, Jan XXOO |

Thx Michael and all..trying to be positive..it's real hard..PT kills !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't bend it at all..but I realize it's barely 2 wks..I have to do PT 3X a wk (SO PAINFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)..but in MY case was also misdiagnosed 8 mo so my tear was extreme per dr..cartilage was COMPLETELY gone So gonna be a while..I re meet w/surgeon for post op visit on the 2nd:( kinda nervous cos it hurts and is so swollen:(  |
