Just had to share this...
I got off the phone a little while ago with my sister and she told me she had some awesome news to tell me about...
She is a graduate of the University of Maine in Orono with a degree in Elementary Education...she's currently substituting until she can find a permanent position...she lives in an apartment nearby UMaine.
Anyhow, my sis said that Gavin Degraw had a concert at the MCA (maine center for the arts) in Orono..it's on the UMaine Campus.... well she didn't go because she had to work and then went to her Swing Dancing class, but some of her friends did. After the concert they called her up to say they were going to Margaritas (a mexiacan bar & grill) to hang out and have a few drinks with some of his band and that my sis should come over and join them. So my sis went over and in walked the band and Gavin.... he ended up talking with my sis and then some guy kept sending over free drinks to him & was basically stalking him, so the band and Gavin wanted to get out of there and asked my sister's friend if she had a car and she said no but that my sis had a minivan....so Gavin was like 'great! would u mind bringing us back to our bus?' so my sis was like sure...... they all piled in her van and she drove them around. and then Gavin said she and her friends needed to go on their tour bus for awhile, so they did and my sis ended up having a few beers with them and chatted for a long while. She said it was a lot of fun and that they were all so down-to-earth and friendly...she said she was really impressed by how decent they were and that they insisted on her & her friends to hang around with them for awhile. They kept thanking my sister for the ride...she said she felt embarrassed for chafferuing them around in an old mini-van (I bet! The last time I rode with her, she had so much stuff in her back seats, like a typical college person...and she's not even in college anymore haha).
