Hi guys, my name is Lindsay, and I'm new to the board. But, I'm not a new Cher fan. I'm 17 now, and I've loved her since i was like eight or nine. I would constantly get made fun of in school for liking her. I hated that. Now, I'm over it. I can like who i wanna like! And Cher is my idol and rolemodel. I love her! So, I just figured I'd say hey to my fellow Cher fans.

Welcome, Lindsay!! You'll love it here!  I am 18, and I know what it's like to be made fun of at school for being a Cher fan. But, who cares. If someone has a problem with you liking Cher, that's their loss!  Again, welcome, and a fare warning...you may find yourself hooked to this board!! Julie |

Welcome and sorry for the delay as u see above on the main board was a rough wk..Don't feel bad about being made fun of for being a Cher fan..I am 41 next mo. and have always been unfortunately surrounded by NON Cher fans growing up..not easy..but since the world of online ness I have met some cheriffic ppl and it's been wonderful to have that common ground and if not for the internet I would have never have met my local Cher buds Bert Trudy Frank Gaby and Felicia (and well Steph who I pray will move back! LOL) and my outta state buds as well..Hey "It's a CHER thing people just don't understand" their loss! But seriously..WELCOME

DEE Thanks agn, and I totally understand with everything going on. She sounded like an awsome person! I wish I would of known her. I have a story to tell you guys... I was at a Cher concert in Philly. I think it was the 2nd time in philly during the Farwell tour. And I was all decked out in my Cher gear. I had my wig, My Cher hate, and my other Cher things. And I was sitting next to my grandmom. I was soo excited- I kept saying "Ah! omg! I can't wait, this is going to be awsome the second time around" Stuff like that. ANd this guy next to me was like "ew, do you even know who Cher is?" I was gonng flip! Of COURSE i know who Cher is--DUH! That made me reeally mad! lol Sorry I just wanted to get that out. It just upsets me that when people see me, they dont think of me as a Cher fan, just because I'm young. |
