Ok guys, guess who's been accepted to college!! Whohoo baby! Got my acceptance letter today in the mail when I got home from Show Choir practice! ;D
I am going to the University of Maine in Orono, majoring in Social Work.
It is so funny because yesterday I had a meeting with an admissions counselor from a local community college and was in the process of filling the application out, and I also applied online to another college. Was going to send in the application fees today or tomorrow...luckily they didn't get sent out today...saved my parents $60. ;-)
Also, I am so shocked by being accepted because I turned in my letter of recommendation yesterday (I had my chorus teacher write it and she took forever to get it done..must have waited 4 weeks for it!) to guidance to be sent in with my packet of stuff, and apparently my guidance counselor must have sent everything without my recommendation letter cause there's no way I would have gotten the acceptance letter already today.
Anyway, my guidance counselor told me that I probably wouldn't be accepted into UMO because of my low math score on my SATs (took my SATs twice and got the same score both times, so I was planning on taking them a third....so glad that's not the case now!)....my mom told me to go in on Monday and brag it up to the counselor.
Anyway, sorry for my rambling....just wanted to cher this with you. I have never felt so happy in my life. Honestly guys, it's going to be scary going away from home but it's only about an hour or so away, and my sister is currently living in an apartment not too far from the UMO campus. So, I should make out fine. I'm just glad I don't have to apply or go to the local community college, because then I would have been living at home, and as much as I love my family it will be nice to become more independent and have some freedom! ;-)

I actually miss it! Congrats u deserve it!
But, with that said...I hope you all have a fantastic time (for me! haha) and give Cher all the love in the world. 
College ROCKS!! You will have sooo soooo much fun...and the MEN! Whohoo!! Right your own ticket babe...plus the friendships...nothing like them. Mine are all throughout the U.S. ENJOY Girl!! You will do awesome!!
