Nothing earth shattering so put in just talking part..my NON Cher buddy brought me over a copy of the recent "Globe" magazine out now..she knows I am resting this ankle..  Anyways..I know it's one of the rag magazines..but it's still cher:) LOL..there are 4 kewl pics:) It reads the Jan 17th edition if that helps..our stores had it so sure it must be in your local areas as well:) |

Hey Buddy....I went to Barnes and Noble over the weekend to buy that January/February Travel Magazine with Cher on the cover...and I found TOM CRUISE on the cover. What was the name of the magazine again? Was it TRAVEL/SAVVY? Because Jan/Feb had Tom on the front...thanks:)

Thanks, Jan. It is sad but I still buy those tabloids if Cher is in them, and I know I shouldn't since it's just supporting and encouraging them to keep on doing all the nasty stuff that they do to celebs, but I can't help it....if Cher's in it, then it's mine!  Julie P.S.-Di, the name of that magazine was "Travel Girl"...goodluck finding it! I got the last copy apparently at my local bookstore! |

It is called Travel girl..it's a 2 mo. magazine for Jan-Feb..ooh tom cruise? LOL..I sold my last copy to Dee last nite:) Sorry but if I ever see it will let u know..prob in a few wks will be real cheap on ebay

Thanks Buddies...that's ok. At least I know the name of it. The one with Tom Cruise on it was called TRAVEL/SAVVY. Not the same one. But no Cher Travel Magazine to be found. So...Ebay it is. Thanks Janet for the link.
Yep Julie...I'm with you. If Cher is in the Tabloids...that sucker is mine! Read that one on the way home on the plane...literally grabbed it minutes before going thru Security!! LOL...I have an extra Enquirer if anyone wants it!

Can't believe I actually forgot to pick my copy of the "Globe" up.  I had every intention to get it, too...but that's ok. I'm just glad I got my "Travel Girl"....and I have kept my eye out to see if any are lurking around at any of the book stores, and haven't seen even a trace of one. So I think I really did luck out! Not that this relates to the magazine thread, but I am still so amazed at how Cher comes to my "rescue" in the most unexpected times. The other night before going to bed I was setting my alarm clock and flipped it to the radio for a section to hear the end of "I've Got You Babe"....and hearing the tail end of it has happened a couple times before in the car, etc. when I'm flipping through stations. And then the other night a couple friends and I were just about to leave Friendly's and on came "Baby Don't Go"..how fitting. Lol. And I recall hearing "Believe" (I think...but it might have been another Cher song..can't remember exactly) once when my mom and I were leaving there awhile back. And, a few days ago I was with my mom in a Card Smart (hallmark gift shop) and when we were at the cash register, "Believe" came on, and I had just been thinking right before then how cool it would be if I heard that while I was in there. I've also had other really weird times, too, but I think I've rambled on long enough! |
