Susan or anyone know how to do these? Like if you wanna take a pic online, do you use a cam for that? We had talked about this a very long time ago and someone said about using the prt scr/sysrq button..

I know how to do it with a Mac!! Sorry, I don't really use PCs and am kind of a PC hater... I know with a Mac thought it's apple/shift/3. But you can't take screen shots of DVDs...that part of the screen just shows up black. Maybe you can now though with the updated OS - but I doubt it.

Lisa, There is a program called Screenhunter that allows you to take captures of online pages, but I am not sure it will work for videos. There is a paid version and a free version. It is great for taking screen captures of things like ebay auctions you want to save or any thing you need to archive for later use. Here is the link: www.wisdom-soft.com/products/screenhunter_free.htm

The way I do it is by pressing the "Prt Scr Sys Rq" button and then I use a program like Paint (which is typically installed on your computer, but not everyone has it) and paste it there and save it.
If you don't get what I mean, I'll try to re-explain if I talk to online later.

Thanks Julie.. That's exactly how I was doing it with a video and got the black screen when saving it.. You find a video and give it a try and see how it works for you, let me know if you get the same..

Ok girl...I will do that and let you know! I almost think the last time I tried doing that, I might have run into the same problem, but I think I found a solution to it. But, I feel like I have alzheimers and can't remember now how I did it. So I'll let ya know later.
