Maine huh? Heard it's beautiful there...isn't that where Stephen King lives? THE AVIATOR ROCKED! Was sooo good...loved Leo and Kate Beckingsale...she played Ava Gardner..and Cate Blanchett played Katharine Hepburn. They were incredible! A MUST SEE!

Well I took my final today. 7 pages long! I had to stay after that to work on yearbook stuff for awhile and I saw my English teacher in the hallway and checked to see if she had graded the finals yet. She had and offered to show me what I got. Haha...I got a 77 on it....she added 2 points to everyone's grade, so in theory I only got a 75. But, atleast it's passing, and for the quarter I think she said I have an 84...last quarter I had a 90. So, I will atleast make honor roll...last time I made high honors, but honors is still pretty good.

Anyway, hope you girls are on tonight! I dunno but I am really tired...didn't get to bed this morning 'till 3:30 tryin' to study for that d**n final. Then only got 2 hrs of sleep cause I had to get up at 5:30. Thank god there's no school tomorrow...altho I have to go in at 11 for Show Choir rehearsal....

Haha..yep. Di...I am from Maine. Parts of Maine are beautiful, but most people think of Maine as the picture perfect post card with the lighthouse and lobster...lol...and altho we do have those things, there is so much more to Maine than that.

Yep...Stephen King does live here in Maine. Actually, about an hour or so from me...he lives in Bangor. I have a picture of his house if anyone is interested to know what it looks like. Really nothing too exciting....he has a black gate in front, but most people wouldn't even realize it's his. He does a lot for his community...like donating money for baseball fields to be built for kids, recently a new pool, etc. plus he does do things for other places in Maine as well. I saw his wife, Tabitha, at a local McDonalds a long time ago when I was with my mom...she is the plainest looking woman I have ever seen, not to mention it struck me as odd since I pictured her being all 'spiffy' since they have money. But, as I am sure you know, Stephen King is also very plain and I must say they go well together.

My dad's brother roomed with Stephen King their first year of college at UMO (University of Maine in Orono). My uncle said they ended up being friends, but he couldn't stand Stephen's chain smoking and sitting up all hours of the night rapping away at his typewriter. Huh..who knows...maybe he was writing one of his future famous works in that little dorm room! Hehe.
-They used to go on double dates, and Stephen set my uncle up with Tabitha, if I am remembering correctly! I have no idea who my uncle set him up with.

Anyway, sorry for rambling... I just always love telling that story. My mom is the biggest Stephen King fan and has read all of his books except for his DarkTower series. And I think it's really cool that my that my uncle and him roomed together. I don't think they stay in conctact now since my unlce lives in Houston, TX...

Got it late night Saturday night just after the show...OMG...we won't go there...but let's just say this..>THE SHOW ROCKED..and I made it thru and had me a awesome, awesome time!! But I've been out of it since Sunday...had to fly home..on two planes with the stomach flu...so I have not been with it until tonight. Feeling tons better...so you feel better to girl! OK? Not doing good here, sick as a dog!! Was in bed for 2 days, high fever, thank god dad got here yest. to get me to the dr.. Had a temp of 101.2 in the office, couldn't breathe, coughing like ribs were breaking, man aweful!!!
Have a sinus infection plus bronchitis, feel better since the fever broke but coughing to beat the band, chills on and off too, nurse said sounds like I have a touch of the flue with it!!! Have never felt this sick in ages.. Whoever else feels sick, get well soon, cuz it's a killer for sure..

Sorry I haven't been online too much lately....been so busy with school. Was at school from 7 AM to 7:30 PM today....had show choir practice right after school at 2:00 until 7...and it ran over until 7:30. Getting ready for Tuesday's competition....had to learn some choreogrpahy which is actually turning out to be fun, and hopefully we can pull it off for Tuesday and make it to States.

So now I am off to finish my Algebra homework...I don't understand any of it, and just hoping I can squeak by in the class!

Literally...poor Sheri..had to boot her butt outta the room a few times...just so she wouldn't get exposed and have to listen to it!! EEEK!! RUNNN! Really didn't want her to get that nasty thang... but we did have one helluva weekend..so it didn't ruin it! Got to fill yas in...You should have seen me flyin home...two connections...I WAS GREEN!
