*groans* Sorry to hear that, Julie....When I hurt my knee, I tore the ligaments which according to the doctors was worse than a break. I was on cruches for ages.. the first time it happened I was in the 7th grade - I fell on the ice before getting on the bus and thought I was fine until I sat down on the bus and my knee felt like it popped in and out. I didn't know what had happened, so I waited 'till I got to school and my sister ended up having to tell the bus drvier because I couldn't walk... the school nurse had to come with the wheelchair. LMAO! Then in the 8th grade I was rehearsing for my school play "You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown" and when I was walking up the steps on the back of the stage, my knee let go again.. I ended up going to physical therapy and had a stupid knee brace to wear. Knock on wood it hasn't happened for about 4 years now, but every now and then my knee will be funny and seize up, but they told me it's inoperable. Whoa....sorry to ramble on like I usually do. Better go..... waiting to open my prezzies!! Julie

Hope you're feeling better Julie! Thank sucks about your knee too, other Julie ... The worst I've ever done *knocking on wood like crazy* is about two years ago I broke my foot. Was walking to school from my apartment and slipped on some wet bricks. Its the only time in my life I think I almost passed out and didn't think I could stand again. Luckily a Ride-On bus had just stopped right there and some nice guy helped me up. I managed to hobble to school (about another 15 min walk) and then went to student health where the guy told me I sprained it. I was in agony for the rest of that day and my foot/ankle swelled up like 3 times its normal size. Unfortunately my room mates were both out of town that weekend, so I basically layed on the sofa and cried and crawled everywhere I had to. *my moment of melodrama * I walked on that thing forever and it didn't get much better, so I went to another doctor, got an x-ray even, who still told me it was just sprained and gave me a "boot" to wear. I walked with that for months until I finally went to another doctor and got an MRI and FINALLY found out my foot was actually BROKEN. So then I hobbled on crutches for months until it finally healed. No fun. So I feel your guys pain!
