Soon we got Billy Crystal's 700 Sundays..we really love him..we met him yrs back when he did stand up at Queensborough college here in NY (was only $5 then!)and he played over 2 hrs and was fantastic! Nicest guy ever too! We also got for Good Vibrations last wk..the new Beach Boys one..should be good!

That's great that you will get to see it again! I love Andrew Lloyd Webber! I saw Phantom several months after it opened on Broadway. The entire original cast was still in the show. It is one of my favorites Susan

Phantom was my obsession immediately before Cher... about two years prior to obsessing over her I saw Phantom of the Opera for the first time and was just mesmerized... I memorized the entire cast recording-- I was like 7 or 8 years old.

I was reeally into Phantom when I was in elementary school. I've seen it 2 times at the Kennedy Center here in DC. The first time I went with just my dad and we had standing room only tickets - a daddy/daughter date! So cute! But what was even cuter was that my daddy built me a take-apart and assemble stool that he could ut together when we got there for me to stand on so I could see better! Then, after the show my dad wanted to walk around and "explore" alittle. When we came back down to the theater where the seats were we noticed that a group of people had reassembled and were sitting waiting for something. My dad was like, "Let's pretend we belong." It was like Friends of the Kennedy Center or something...but anyway, the actor who played Firmin came out and gave a talk, answered questions and signed autographs - so I ended up meeting him and having him sign my program! Thanks to my daddy, who I swore was going to get us in trouble! Then, we left the Kennedy Center and were driving home and we passed this woman walking and I said to me dad, "She looks just like Madame Giry." Well, we made a wrong turn and had to go back that way and she was still walking, so my dad pulled off to the side of the road and we accosted the poor woman! lol She was actually very surprised I recognized her without her stage makeup on and I think was very flattered too. She also signed my program. About a year later my mom and dad took one of my younger sisters and I to see it again at the Kennedy Center - but this time we sat and had great seats. No meeting any cast members afterwards that time though.

I saw Phantom in Philadelphia a few years ago. I really enjoyed it. I was at the movies tonight, and I saw a preview for the film version due out on December 22. It looks really good.
