Yesterday was my dad's birthday and one of my two sisters came home from college to celebrate with us...so we're probably seeing The Incredibles this weekend. It's hard to get my dad to go to the movies but he liked Monsters Inc and Finding Nemo...so we can get him to go to this one!  |

Okay so we saw The Incredibles tonight guys...it was awesome!! Def. go see it...so funny and well written and awesome animation - as per the usuall norms for Pixar!  Go see it! |

Oh I know Megan...wasn't it great? I loved it. We took the kids to go see it today..and Paul and I loved it!! Was really fun..and good getaway..and laugh movie. So cute.. PIXAR ROCKS!! Didn't see anything else...nothing on DVD either...anything new come out on DVD other than Shrek 2? That was really cute too... ;D Di |

Has anyone seen Alfie?I saw it and it sucked.I had been waiting for this one to come out and was kinda let down.

Nope...didn't see Alfie...thanks for the heads up though . This thread ROCKS...I missed three movies now that were lousy..and saved the ole buckeroos because of this thread!! Nothing like it!! Want to see the new Bridget Jones Movie...does anyone when that comes out? OH...SAW THE NEW TRAILER TO STAR WARS EPISODE III..OMG...that looks sooooo awesome!! Anakin turns into Darth Vader...the fight scene between Obi-Wan and Anakin was AWESOME too...man, can't wait to see that one!! Better run ... lmk if anyone saw any new DVD's this weekend. Di |

OMG Janet!! I know...Man, I wished you were here or I was there...we'd do a movie a week ! That would ROCK!! Can't wait to see both of those movies too...Star Wars looks really awesome too..now that's not until May of next year I think..but whoa... Nothing I really want to see that's out now...  Am I wrong? Ur killin me Di..I just got Stepford Wives DVD today! LOL..did not see it yet..fiqured this will keep me resting rather than running around w/this friggin cough! I love Nicole though..she is great! me and bert saw her on the view..she seems so sweet and down to earth! And yea Jen pls pls post review of the one ur seeing cos when I feel better I am def def seein that one and new J Depp one! BTW Depp on cover of People I see:) WOO HOO

Hey Jenn..Hey Janet Buddy...Yeah..Stepford was so so..but some parts were really really funny...enough to buy it...with the friend that was gay...and Bette! It just ROCKED...and I love Nic too..I have liked her from Day 1 with Dead Calm. I have like every movie she has been in... I want to see FINDING NEVERLAND TOO! There already is Oscar Buzz for Kate Winslet..and I think SHE ROCKS TOO! Fabulous actress..and Johnny is to die for! Loved him in Edward Scissorhands too!! He's just a great actor..and HOT HOT HOT! Jen..thanks for the review on Bridget...want to see that one too! WHOOHOO!! Hey everyone... I need to get caught up with you all here...I've been sick sick sick ... Just hit me the other day but I think it's getting worse and not better...mega (stole your word Jan ) sore throat, cough, headaches, snuffy nose, and achy allll over. I just feel icky. Hopefully in a few days I'll be back to normal though. I know how all you guys have felt now... Just thought I'd add that I saw Briget and enjoyed it also. How was the Polar Express Di?? Anyone see any ads for Hide and Seek? It looks really scary and has adorable and highly talented Dakota Fanning in it. She's amazing...so I really wanna see that. Also still have to see Ray. My sister saw an advanced screening of Finding Neverland and got to talk with the producer. She really enjoyed it, I think. I'll have to ask her again... I'll try to catch up soon... |

Feel better Megen..mine is better but still got the hacking cough..saw doc Monday nite again..he said the cough part unfortunately can linger a long time..sometimes up to 6-8 wks..I am in my 5th..fever part and cold part gone..it's just the cough:( Lotsa tea and soup my friend:) Jan

Hey Megan...sorry to hear you got that creeping crud bug...nasty thing! I swear, everyone in Illinois has it!  Feel better babe! POLAR EXPRESS WAS AWESOME! I want to see it again!! I'm going this weekend again with the kids...but it's not just a kids movie...its for adults too...and it ROCKED! Thanks Jan! I know that sucks about your cough... Luckily my cough wasn't really that bad. My throat still burns like crazy - none of the symptoms have really gone away completely but at least I have some strength and am alittle perkier! I think it may be all the drugs my mom's got me on - extra strength tylenol, prescription strength motrin, nyquil...!! lol No, I don't think I'll be going to the DC show... As much as I want to, I haven't found good tickets anywhere yet and we're still not sure when and if my momma's having back surgery before that... |

I just saw Tom Hanks in Terminal, the one where a foreiner gets stuck at the airport and it was great. Mr. Hanks there has been doing such awesome films the past 8yrs. He is such a great actor. I wasn't so crazy about him when he first started but love him now. Kind of like Johnny Depp-wasn't crazy about his first films but he has been so awesome the past 5-6 yrs. I just LOVED him in Pirates of the Carribean-and the new movie where he is the writer-oh my so GOODLOOKING
I have Stepford wives and plan on seeing tonight.

Hey Trudy Girl...wasn't The Terminal GREAT!!! I loved it! Went a long time ago to see that at the theatre with my husband...and I'm like..."Oh Ok"..because it didn't look that good. But anything that Steven directed and Tom is in..HAS TO BE GOOD! AND IT WAS! Tom is an incredible actor. I think I have loved everything he has been in...I have a few favs...CASTAWAY and APOLLO 13.
Want to go to see the SPONGE BOB movie. Am going with the kids tomorrow or Sunday...FEEL BETTER MEGAN AND JANET!!
