I saw the movie "The Notebook" and loved it. My mother loves Nicholas Spark's books...I wouldn't be surprised if she has read most if not all of them. Sometime I plan on reading one, since I have heard so many good things about his books. ...maybe I'll pick up his new book when it comes out! Thanks for letting us know.

you're welcome julie. if you liked the notebook you might want to read the wedding since it is sort of a continuation of that story-noah is still in it. hope you did not mind my suggestion.

Thanks Joanne. I think I remember my mom reading "The Wedding"...I'll have to ask her if she has it so I can borrow it sometime, and I will also ask her for "The Notebook" so I can read that too.
No, I didn't mind your suggestion...thanks!
This summer I read a really good book called "A House of Sand and Fog" by Andrew Dubois (I THINK that was the author's name, but I could be wrong). A movie based on the book came out a while ago...after I read the book I rented the movie. I was surprised that the movie was actually really good and close to the book EXCEPT at the end. I hated the ending of the movie, because they left out major details. Anyways, if you really enjoy reading this may be a book you would enjoy...I could hardly put it down!

I've read "The Notebook" and "The Wedding" But I was wondering if any of you fans can tell me how his book "Two Weeks with My Brother" (I think that is the title of it?) is? Thanks, Bert

three weeks with my brother is about a two week round the world trip sparks took with his brother micha-they went to really primitive places and saw a lot of ruins-what i enjoyed was gaining insight into their life growing up-they have had a lot of tragedy in their life-the book goes back and forth between the past and present. btw read all his books but the notebook and the wedding are my favorites
