Okay so since a lot of you guys are talking about other shows you like...I was wondering if there are any more Amazing Race fans out there?? I know Dann's a fan...and I'm totally a fan...it's the only "reality show" I really really like and faithfully watch. Anyway, if any one out there watches too - who are you rooting for? My family is totally rooting for Chip and Kim. I just LOVE them! I missed it last week...you know, the whole amazing night at the Toledo Cher concert and all...  and then my dad was gonna record it for me on Saturday when it re-aired but he forgot. Oh well, my mom filled me in...I was kinda sad to see the twins go, I kinda liked them. And I'm worried for Chip and Kim coming in last place! Tomorrow night's a new episode......  |

Love this show!! I do watch other reality shows, but I think this one is the best. It deservedly won the Emmy Award for "Outstanding Reality-Competition Program" last year, and I hope it wins again next week at this year's Emmy Award ceremony. I am also rooting for Chip & Kim... or the "Bowling Moms".

My friend Donna got me into this..i never used to watch it and now I'm addicted! LOL..Hey WHEN is the new AM IDOL'S gonna be on ..that's my MAIN one I'm waiting for! I swear we're all reality junkies! Me and Sheri are real bad..we even love Fear Factor! LOL:)

Jan: Glad your friend Donna got you into this show -- you're right, it's totally addictive!! Who are you rooting for? I was so bummed that tonight's (9/14/04) episode was a non-elimination round -- I really wanted Colin and Christie to go "bye-bye" because Colin can be such a huge a-hole!! I was so glad that the other teams wanted to "yield" them, but I feel bad for Chip and Kim because they're gonna be taking all the heat for it because they were the first ones there by just seconds... I bet none of the other teams will stick up for them and say, "we ALL would've yielded you", ya know what I mean? Oh well... at least Chip and Kim came in first this week, and I'm glad that they won the trip to Hawaii.
I'm not positive, but I think that "American Idol" returns in January.

Yeah, I watch other reality shows too Dann...but I don't like to readily admit it cause technically, I don't like the idea of reality tv. It started when we thought the actors were gonna strike (well, or got really popular then I guess) and now tv networks like it cause it's cheap.
There's a handful of quality reality shows but so much of it is just garbage (I think). I think Amazing Race is one of the best too. And I like American Idol and What Not To Wear and Queer Eye. Trading Spaces is okay now and then, but I think its gotten not so good in its old age. And then I have my guilty pleasures like Trading Spouses. :-P
Anyway, that's cool that you love Amazing Race too Jan!
I wanted Colin and Christie to go too Dann! I used to like them - then Colin became a big a-hole like you said. So then I thought Christie was ok but last night she made me sooo mad. At the beginning how she was being over confident, "We're the best team - the other teams suck." And then after they got yeilded and she was in that car thing telling the driver, "They played unfair," "Just run them over!" Totally annoying.
I feel bad that they have this vendetta out now towards Chip and Kim - because EVERYONE wanted to yeild them! And you're so right Dann, none of them are gonna stick up for them either.
They're just soooooo great! I love how Chip said that if the bowling moms could do that height thing they were gonna win - and then he hugged her in the airport. They neeed to win. If they don't though, yeah, the bowling moms should win. I don't want Brandon and Nicole or Colin and Christie to win.

"My ox is broken" LOL I think that Colin and Christie are two type A personalities who deserve each other.....i knew from the moment he forced her to eat all that cavier that they wern't quite right.

DON'T READ ON IF YOU DIDN'T SEE TONIGHT'S FINAL EPISODE!!!! WAHOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yay for the good guys winning!!! ;D They totally deserved it so so much, Chip and Kim were just the best. I was so worried when they kept falling behind - but things worked out for them and they won. They are awesome - so happy for them |

Me too!!! I was rooting for them, and I"m so happy they won... On Tuesday afternoon, I was talking with my friend, and I said that I hoped that Drew would win Big Brother, and that Chip & Kim would win The Amazing Race... and they both happened! |
