Check your local listings for stations and times. *************** If any of you New York-area Cyndi fans are going to this, please post here so that we can look for ya in the audience...  Has anyone gotten Cyndi's SHINE album yet? (Not the EP, but the full album...) It's only been released in Japan so far... I'm hoping that it will eventually get released here in the US too. Ooh it's a SATURDAY!!!!!!!!!! Gab see u there..Def wanna go ..I got a party though in NJ that afternoon that I HAVE to be at so can't linger after show:( but yea I'll be there...bright and early though cos I know many lauper fans heading there nite before..

Like Dann said, I'd probably suggest checking your local TV guide for times. I'm assuming it'll be in the early morning on Saturday, possibly live. And I think they'll air most, if not all, the songs she plays. But I don't think it'll be like a whole concert. I'm just going by the last time she was on like 3 years ago. It rained and Emeril was on too and she helped him with his cooking segment afterwards. That was Today, wasn't it? She was/is too funny/cute.  |

Yes, Dann, I will def. have to go to sleep early Fri. night. No question about that.
Lisa, the show is on at 7am ET but she may not be on right away. And like Megen said, it won't be a full concert. She'll probably just do a few songs. When she was on GMA in '03 with Emeril, she sang 7, and only 2 aired on TV. It's a shame they don't broadcast more.

Show was postponed to next mo:( In a way better for me cos I got a party in NJ Sat...and plus Me and Gaby heard rain..so better off! Plus by then hopin more of our Cher crew who could not make it this weekend can by then:)

Oops no..Now Gaby heard it IS on for tomorrow but airing 10/2! Hmmm...tempting..supposed to pour! LOL..this should be interesting..wonder if it'll still go on?

Hey Jan and Gaby...just looked on Cyndi's website (I'd been there earlier today and thought I'd seen something about the Today show appearance)...It looks like it's still rescheduled for October 2nd.
Not 100% sure but here's what it says, "On Saturday, September 18, 2004, Cyndi should have been performed on the Today Show's Concert Series. It is postponed to October 2 (probably). It will be broadcast live on NBC. Check local listings for stations and times."
Then again it also says that was updated on September 14th so it might have changed since then....

Someone also posted the following info. on the Cher board:
Cyndi's performance on the Today show weekend addition will air October 2nd, instead of the Sept 18th original date. Her performance will be live that day. This is because of the Golf tournament that will be on this saturday, pre-empting the Today show throughout much of the country.

Just have to say that I finally got a chance to check out your pictures Jan/Gabby of Cyndi! They are fantastic! I will have to watcht he tape again and see if I can find you guys, really didn't see you the first time around.
