Ok I bought the Living Proof album. When I went to play it on my computer on realplayer, this webpage came up so I can subscribe to the official mailing list at cher.com. So I went ahead and submitted my email address. Then I tried to play the CD but it would not play at all. It just had the webpage and stuff for the mailing list. I bought it at Barnes and Noble. Is it the way it's supposed to be? How do I get to play the CD?

it wouldn't play in your computer, or it wouldn't play at all?

I got it figured out. It'll play on the CD player only. If you play it on the computer, something will come up so you can watch the SFTL offiicial video and put in your email address to subscribe to Cher's mailing list. I'm surprised so many people didn't know those. How many got "Living Proof"? If you don't have it, you really should get it!

i wonder if it has to do with the cd or with the operating system you're running? no you don't understand. It's not the computer. It won't work on any computers at all. If you put it on any computers or operating systems, the site I was talking about is gonna show up. You have to play it on a CD player? Wow, a lot of people must not have the CD cuz they have no idea what I'm talking about.

No, I bought that CD years ago, and it works fine on my computer. If you're on Windows, I feel like you should be able to go to the disc drive and hit it there. Or you could probably get to it on iTunes or Windows Media Player.

Excuse me but I think I know what I'm talking about. I know when I put a CD in and I know when I see a website up there once I do that. I'm not dumb.

Watch it. Clearly you don't know what you're talking about if you can't get your CD to work, and you're the only one with that problem. I'm trying to help you. Don't be a jerk.

Please do not tell me to "watch it" or call me a jerk. Another fan had the same issue as I did so I'm clearly not the only one and I'm told that this happens if I have the first US edition of the album. This fan also had the same edition as I do. What's the edition that you got? I mean, is it like US or the European etc....? I have no idea what the European edition is like. The CD is ok in the CD player but not the computer is all I was saying. Again, another fan had the same issue so no, I'm not the only one. As one of the reviews said here, it is an Enhanced CD, I guess that's why I'm finding both audio and multimedia files. www.cduniverse.com/search/xx/music/pid/2406585/a/Living+Proof.htm

I have the US version that I bought in 2001, so probably the first edition, and I'm really well-versed in computers and such so I'm pretty sure that it's the computer and not the CD.
I don't tell people to watch it unless they're acting rudely...
