d**n Really George..I had a 4th row for that nite but had to turn down cos my co worker has out of town wedding and I'd hate to go in just the one weekend..Cos it's a long flight as u know..Ideally I'd love to go opener and then re return in Aug..Aug we're all def going I know..I am in a cast now (busted cartilage in my ankle and foot and screwed up my knee..don't ask..so praying this all heals before!!!!!!!! LOL..Been working..cos I sit all day but been under orthopedist care for 6 wks now w/this..I know Vegas is a lot of walking..do they have wheelchair access! LOL..But now that i know ur def goin the 24th..hmm..tempted to go for the weekend..sux I can't get the fri before off though:( GRRRRR..keep me posted what other dates u go ok..u got my email..and the dates u leave and go..cos maybe we can all link up at airport and go to same hotel

Where are your seats? I got through Ticketmaster at 10 sharp and online at 10 sharp and could only manage second part of the Orchestra which I was not doing at almost $300 a pop. I'll take my chances on Box Office seats directly but going May 10-13.

I really wanna go May 6th-10th then re return in Aug sometime..But so far no tkts:( So sad..My friend Gina got her C Dion tkts thru Celine's fan club and my other friend Shelly got her Elton tkts same arena as well thru fan club as well..both paid base price (no svc charge) and were up close within first five rows..Think the cancellation line would be do-able for high rollers who no show George?..they don't even like Cher most of them..I hate when ppl who DON'T support Cher are up close..Blows..they'll probably all be sitting too! LOL..I hear no cameras in this arena true guys? Shame tkts so hard cos the flights and some hotels are pretty do-able price wise..george what airline u going home with again..and what day u heading back to Jersey?

Due to the impending nuptials and honeymoon cruise (and needing to buy a new furnace before we die of carbon monoxide poisoning!!!), I gotta sit '08 out and wait 'till hopefully spring '09. I know I will be pulling my hair out in May, but what else can I do? I am going to be living online for everyone's reports... detailed setlists!! Pics!! I mean, I know it's been a while, but you guys remember how to do it!

My friend who saw Dion there said they STUNK re: Cameras..as in they confiscated them at the door:( Not surprised in AC they wouldn't let me in w/cameras either..I asked Kev who does DVDs of all her shows if he has any contacts to record it..he's gonna let me know..doubt it though..Sheri found those binoculars at Rite Aid though that have built in cameras though and we both got cell cameras..mine doesn't have the best zoom though..I am sure gonna try n sneak it in though..Michael keep me posted WHEN in 09 u go and we'll def link up my friend..2010 too:) Congrats to u and your honey again! Matt, Pat and myself got tickets for August 13th. Plan to spend the whole week out there. Hopefully the convention will be around this time also.

It is Dee convention is the 11th and 12th..I'd like to fly in the 9th to be w/my Cher buddy Erick too more whose gonna be in from Holland..so glad u will be in when Sheri and I in that wk:) WOO HOO..we'll be there..we're gonna go the 13th too but just no tkts yet:( We do have for the 12th though and also goin in May but we'll be there the 13th of Aug too..hope to just get tkts at the box ofc when there for that to avoid more svc charges..just too whipped now from medical expense:( can u say $150 a wk co pay for PT:( Yea it's bad..not to mention..dr..cast..medical supplies..prescriptions and all else u know? It's nuts..see u soon:) BTW Dee what day u flying in for Aug? Let us know..I know many fans going in the 9th but keep us posted..Maybe u and Sheri could fly and come home together? So let us know ok..and about the bracelet? |

I have to sit out 2008 as well.. my sister is getting married this October in Mexico and I am the maid of honor...so unfortunately (lol) that comes first!!!! I was thrilled to hear she is doing this for 3 years so I am def. going in 2009!!!!!!!!! cant wait!

We are flying in sometime on the 8th. Not sure what flight yet...I have some family that is talking about going with us so we will def have my sister looking for cheap flights. We will probably take off from Flint cause right now it seems cheaper than detroit, but I will keep in touch with Sheri and see what we can work out. So You and Sheri going on the 13th too!!!! that is so awesome! Alex a wedding in Mexico sounds like a great time to me!!! Will miss ya!

Yea Dee we got tkts for Cher Aug 12th and Aug 13th..nice seats for Aug:) We're excited..ok being ur goin in the 8th..maybe we'll go in the Sat before then..I'd like to as overseas friends will be there early too..We both have to work the Fri before though..but that Sat morning possibly is good..Would love to buy the bracelet from u before the show in May or at least by Aug one so email me..let me know:) thanks Dee..can't wait to see ya

I went to see Bette this weekend & they wouldn't even let you have your cellphones out. If they could see the light on your phone like it was opened or you were using it then they would confiscate it until the end of the show.
I think its going to be very different this time, I don't think we will be throwing sailor hats or maybe even standing for the show. High rollers are in the front rows & they are mostly older people who will not stand & get mad if you do & cause problems.

Yea often in AC here in NJ it's like that..casinos are just like that..I went to hand Cher flowers and I could tell they just hated Cher and just went cos it was free to them..and I remember when Lauper opened they gave her a tough time and were all drunk..shame the high rollers get the close seats..HOW WAS BETTE???
When are u seeing Cher?? Do tell..

Bette was spectacular, she made her entrance riding a live Mule onto the stage. IT was hilarious, she climbed off of it & said Boy is My A** tired LOL. The whole show was fun & Bette looks amazing for 62. Cher & Bette are two of the greatest entertainers in the world!!!!
They told me at the Bette store that when Cher is performing the store will be 80% Cher & 20% Bette & vice versa when Bette is performing. I thought it was kind of odd because Elton has his own store all the time. Why make these girls share one?
Also Bette shows a picture of Cher, Elton & Her from the CHer show & says with this rotation Caesars will draw every gay person in the world. She also talked about how she & Cher were considered bad girls of Rock & Roll in the 70's.

U got it Elsa..just now not good for me in cast (busted my tendons in the knee/foot:( it's bad in Phy therapy 3X a wk..hopefully sometime next mo. Dr thinks it won't be healed by then but let's pray..def though it's a date my friend

Well congrats to Vonni..my longtime fellow Cher fan buddy...She is using my Cher tkts for Aug..I'll miss seeing everyone at convention and the show(s)..but I have no choice..gotta have surgery:( yea stinks MEGA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was soooooooooooooooooo upset but this one outta my control..Von and Sheri and Dee I want a full rept now
