Thanks to Julie for this article from the Daily Record:
AS FAMOUS for her scanty outfits as for her powerful voice, Cher's show at the SECC in Glasgow promised to be a real spectacle.
And her fans weren't disappointed when she dropped on to the stage on a chandelier to sing U2's I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For.
The Farewell Tour is Cher's swansong. She says: 'I don't want to come back in three years time riding a scooter or gummy and toothless and trying to sing I Got You Babe.'
As if this woman could last centuries.
In this no--expense-spared extravaganza, Cher showed us all why she's lasted the pace over 40 years, with toned body and plenty of glitter still intact.
It was a performance that told the likes of J-Lo and Christina: 'Follow this you' but they would have a hard job. Cher took the faithful on a nostalgia trip through the 1960s, with early footage featuring former partner Sonny Bono.
She sang hits including All Or Nothing complete with a mock life-size elephant One By One and I Found Someone.
Numbers including Gypsies, Tramps And Thieves and Take Me Home covered the gamut from her early hippy harmonies through to her modern-day disco era.
The wigs alone were a sight to behold, and mums swung their pants to The Shoop Shoop Song, Strong Enough and If I Could Turn Back Time.
Pure Vegas we hope Cher will change her mind about not coming back.

Here is another item from the Daily Record (thanks again to Julie ) They said it's the same makeup from the night before, but knowing Cher's feelings on skin care, and the missing sparkleys she wears I'm guessing it was simply the same shade of eyeshadow as she wears in concert LOOKS like Cher has committed the cardinal sin and left her stage slap on all night. She was caught leaving her Glasgow hotel yesterday made up to the nines. The diva tried hiding behind her furry parka but was snapped with her pink sparkly eyeshadow still on from her SECC gig the night before. She might be retiring but she is showing no sign of old age.

Maybe Cher was up all night having a good time and that's why the makeup is still on!
