Hey There,
Just got back from Vegas. Very tired. Southwest lost my luggage with all my Cher stuff! It's still in Vegas! Hopefully, they'll deliver it today after 4 pm. I was very good in the store. Just bought: Concert book, Cher flameless candle, Cher blanket, Cher shot glass, coffee cup, one t-shirt, lighter, and pens. Still cost almost $200.
She looked beautiful, costumes awesome, however she said she was horse and since was having problems singing. She didn't sound horse to me. She did make several mistakes, but she just laughed them off. On "Walking In Memphis", they stopped it and started over.
Just before she sang "Strong Enough", she said, "You'll like the next two outfits. One of them is the same from the other shows. I may not sing the song well, since I'm horse, so I will just "shake I disagree alot, and that should make you happy". LOL. In the beginning of the show, her monologue was funny. She talked about seeing "union people behind the scenes on the construction of her sets and how they used to grab their crotches (She demonstrated!) and how they would spit (again demonstrated). It was very funny.
As far as the show, she sounded great. I can't wait to go back. My only complaint, was the use of to much video. Many people complained as they were waking out that they would of liked to of seen more of her instead of all the video. I realize she needed the video to tell the story and for her costumes changes. Maybe, it would of been nice to put back in the show, "Song For The Lonely" and "Love Hurts" to make up for it. But... I know, it would of made the program too long. Still great show, can't wait to go back. BTW, did anyone find out what the deal is with the program with the (Volume 1). Any ideas when and if there will be a (Volume 2)?
