Kudos to Ms Oprah man!!!!!! U hear she gave 276 audience mbrs BRAND new FULLY LOADED cars!!!!!!!! Man my sister in law's sister Diane and I could have really been in that audience..we're soooooo in need of cars!!!!!!! but can't afford em!  That ROCKED! Oprah rocks man! |

Yeah! I heard about it this morning on my local news before I went to school...I thought that was so unbelieveably AWESOME! I usually watch Oprah (well, I used to watch her all the time until she switched to NBC..and then Montel filled her spot on CBS, and their shows were on at the same time, and I got hooked to Montel, but now that Oprah is back to CBS I'm watching her full time again). I can't believe I missed last night's episode...I swear all the really exciting stuff happens when I can't see it. Ohwell. Anyways, I was just telling my mom (who also missed it) about how I saw that Oprah gave away cars to everyone in the audience, and then as I was reading your post, Oprah came on, and she showed a few clips from yesterday.
Man, I know the feeling of wanting to be in that audience! I need (ok, WANT) a car so bad, and that would have been so frikin' awesome.

I did see this episode of "Oprah" yesterday... it was so cool... Oprah took 11 people out of the audience and said that they had won a car... and then she gave everyone else in the audience a box, and she said, "inside one of the boxes is one more key because I have ONE extra car to give away." She made them all wait until everyone had a box, and then she said "open it" and EVERYONE had a key! It was sooooo cool... Oprah was jumping up and down saying, "EVERYONE gets a car!" over and over... it was so funny, and everyone in the audience was so shocked that they all had a key inside the box...

THAT JUST ROCKS! If they ever re run that episode somebody pls post about it..I would have loved to have seen it..I only heard about it on ET and the news

Lol...yeah, I also thought it was cute how Oprah gave everyone a box and made them think that only one box had a key. That was too funny. I sure hope the episode reruns soon! Don't worry Jan...when you're least expecting it, you'll probably see the rerun. Plus, since it was such an exciting show, it may run more than once...I have seen some episodes more than a couple of times, so it is possible. Oh, and last night on my local news, they showed a women here in Maine that was at that Oprah show. The funny thing is she said she got tickets last minute, and was excited just to be at the Oprah Winfrey Show...and then when she got her box she heard a women shrieking and she thought "oh that's nice, that women won the car!' and then she looked down to see that she also had a car, and that everyone around her was screaming and etc. Her minivan had broken down just before she left to go on her trip to see Oprah, and her husband's truck is old and needs too many repairs, so she decided to give him the car she won. I'm glad to see someone from my state won a car, but really, it should have been Miss Julie Adams from Maine....   Julie |

I didn't see the episode itself, but it was on the 6:00 news that night. I also heard something on the news that caught my ear - the cars were actually donated by Pontiac, not Oprah, but it was cool that they were all given away in one spot. Given away - 276 cars!!!!!!
